After not seeing Armin since Tobacco Warehouse and being one of the people that didn't think it was the best party ever, I actually considered going to one of these because I had a good time the other night @ Love and because one of my former co-workers is doing this right before he moves to China.
Then I saw the price it's up to now. Absolutely no ing way. |

I just don't see the value in paying $80 and up for any EDM concert, regardless of who is playing.
If I were to pay $100 for EZ (50 each day) than that isn't bad, considering it's outdoors, the artist lineup is extensive, and the lighting/sound will be top-notch.
But for an indoor concert $80 is a ripoff. And I also don't understand why ticket prices for these shows skyrocket as the date gets closer. Isn't the idea to lure in impulse buyers by pricing the tickets at affordable rates?
If someone was on the fence right now about going, do you think they are going to spring $80 for a ticket? no. |
