Don't most phones offer that now? Maybe I'm wrong :/ |

I am 99% positive it can, but I am not much of a Symbian fan, so I can't really help ya in actually doing it.

I do think we pay too much though. 2 lines, 600 minutes a month, unlimited text and my faves = $110 a month. My contract ends in July though, so perhaps we'll switch to the unlimited plan or something. I don't really talk much on the phone (well I used to talk to my bf a lot but we're not together anymore). When I do, it's after 9 so it's unlimited. I really just want unlimited text and internet. I barely use my faves, too. |
Just change your plan now? You don't have to stick to the same plan for the length of the contract. And if you think that is "too much" I spend $90 a month on my phone. So no complaints. :p

Current phone...
Nexus One (T-Mobile version)
Next phone probably be the Samsung Galaxy S only if it comes with FroYo and if not I'll just get the iPhone 4.
Hopefully in the upcoming months Google releases an updated version of the Nexus so I could get that one also.
Man I spend way to much money on cell phones and all I do is just sms :haha: |
Nexus One already has Froyo. Not sure what you are worried about. As for the Galaxy S, from what I am aware of, it is coming with Eclair and will be updated to Froyo this year. |

Hehe you're probably right but I don't know any better as I've been using a brick since 2007.
And surprisingly no review or user comments, or even the actual manual for the phone says anything about it! |

Only certain N1 have FroYo. I had to update mine seeing I didn't get the OTA |

More like they all have the ability, but the auto-update hasn't been pushed yet. You just have to manually check. |

| I should have an HTC Incredible by July. I went in today to ask about my eligibility and they said the phone is on back order until the 28th of June. I'm due for an upgrade in July to let me get the phone for $150 with a two-year contract. yeahhhhhh |

I looked at the Incredible but saw it was incapable of being used globally. Does anyone have an international plan and a smartphone that goes with it?
I'm not a big fan of the Blackberry or iPhone, but I'm willing to suck it up if these are the best choices. |

The Touch Pro2 on Sprint and Verizon are global, but they use gay ass WinMo. And they are old and slow now. Your only other options would be the Nexus One, iPhone, or BB from AT&T or T-Mobile. |
