NYTA NHL 2010 Playoffs pick 'em game

With the NHL's regular season now over, the best action in all of sports is about to come over the next two months. I think it would be fun to do a playoffs pick'em game. Here's how it works (very simple).

1) At the beginning of each round, post your picks on who you think is going to win each matchup, and in how many games.

2) You earn two points for picking the correct winner of the series, and an additional point for picking the correct amount of games the team wins in. For the Stanley Cup Final, the points system is doubled (4 for correct team, 2 for amount of games).

3) Highest score at the end of the whole thing gets bragging rights.

Additional rules:

- You must submit your picks before the first game of any round starts
- You cannot edit your picks after the series is over to "fix" your mistakes
- At the end of each round, quote your picks for that round and tell me your score. The last time I did this on another forum it was a pain in the ass to add up everyone's scores. So save me a little bit of time :)
- I'll update the leaderboard in this original post (so you don't have to keep digging through the thread to find the standings
- Banter/smack talk over picks you think are smart/stupid is encouraged :toothless

Here are the quarterfinal matchups:

Last day to make your picks for the first round :p

So the Debbies drop the first game of the series to the Flyers.

I haven't said it here earlier, but IMO, the Prudential Center (and Continental Airlines Arena) have been some of the least formidable buildings for visiting playoff teams to compete in.

wow, sharks lost and wings lost.

^^In what sense?

And yeah, we played like mites on ice last night, what a pathetic display of hockey by everyone.. Even Philly played a game, it was overall a really bad hockey game..

The Prudential Center is not a formidable building for a road team to go into and try to win a playoff hockey game. And it's never been that way.

The fans aren't intimidating and neither are the Devils. It's one of the quietest, if not the quietest, playoff environment in the league. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a team come into that place and completely shut down the Devils, or Marty just collapses.
