No, you complained because you're selfish and your fragile ego won't allow you admit otherwise. So instead, you whine that you should have every right to complain because other, equally selfish people are doing the same. |
lol. ok, usa. cuz you know exactly what i am and what i do and what i think.
 |

telling someone to cry a rive is hardly rude! lol guys wtf?! we had worse insults being tossed around!
i think he makes valid points! |
well of course you would.
there isn't a time on these boards that you a) don't have anything to say and b) don't argue about it with me. lol. :)
if he didn't mean to put me and my comment down, then what was he trying to do? open my eyes? to the shame of the capitalist world? isn't there a nicer way to talk to someone when you are trying to change their mind. actually, did he even take the time to know what i stand for? what i think? no.
what i would like to know is the people here that are defending these particular protesters, what are your plans for the G20? what are you going to do to make yourself noticed? what are your solutions to the world problems? let's hear them. at least jayx1 knows to pick his battles and sticks with the local agenda.
are you really that blind? you think that all these protesters have good intentions? there are people out there that follow these types of things, not because they are brave and want change, but because they want to wreck stuff. an outlet for rage. they can't go around everyday and yell and scream and break windows so they look for an excuse and place where many people will gather (to spread the blame) and just destroy things. |

I don't see you making any effort to refute what I'm implying, "Princess".
I'm sure that between your Club Monaco shopping sprees and your Starbucks lattes you're investing oodles of time learning about the world that exists outside of your tiny sphere of existence and thinking long and hard about the personal changes and efforts you could enact to make it a more equitable and liveable place for everyone.
Right? |

lol. i don't have to explain any of my views/efforts/ideas for world change to some annonymous disturber on tranceaddict. lol, the funny thing is that i have never even drank a starbucks unless it was a gift.
so funky, what do you think of this post? you still agree with these tactics? you think he is still has no malice in his posts? belittling my existence is so great! |

wow Margs it's time you took a chill pill, too many rolling eyes!
if you think that everyone will always agree with you, you're utterly blind
I don't argue with you because you're you, it's because I don't agree with you, so sue me! :)
oh and bravo! I don't have anything to say? thanks for the insult lady :)

yes, he was trying to open your eyes, and instead you jumped on him like a pack of wolves
if you have specific questions towards G20 protestors, then you're directing them to a wrong place - find people who're organizing it, call them, email them, whatever
otherwise - why do you assume that what they're protesting about is useless and worthless?
I'm not defending anyone except Pivot in this thread - but I think the fact that the protesting has been moved from a park to Queens Park is fine. Isn't it where everyone else protests as well? Just because you work around the corner and it MIGHT make your logistics harder, doesn't make them evil :)

some people in the world are poor. and it sucks.. but im supposed to feel guilty about that every day of my life? Ive seen abject poverty up close and personal. And im thankful that i am not in that situation. But i dont ever feel guilty for it.
on the contrary, i do whatever i can to help when i can. Not through agencies, not through governments, but by doing something as simple as buying them lunch, or supporting a local by paying them big time money to eat in their home and buy their crafts. In grand scheme of the world its not much, but its something.
We are headed down the path of the third world because we dont bother to do anything when we are wronged. The HST is not bread and circuses, in fact its going to make a lot of marginal people in this province bonefide poor. Poor people are more likely to heat with electricity for starters. Hows that for justice? |

you can have a civilized argument without that |

i love how you critisize everyones lifestyle but your own. If you really feel so strongly about excess, why not go join the people who live on $2 a day?
BTW djing and dj schools are what fidel and other communists would call "bourgoisie decadence". As in they are not needed for the survival of the community and should not exist. ;) |
