Well, first of all, I don't like the mainstream kind of pop. In fact, I actually don't like vocals at all (Unless it's Pink Floyd). Although it's true that I used to listen to that a lot before, but that was before I discovered Anthem/Uplifting Trance, which I started listening to, so I didn't need to listen to that silly pop music any more.
Second of all, instead of calling me an ignorant noob for not knowing something, try to instead ignore how stupid my question is (remember that not everyone knows something specific) and explain what the situation actually is.
Third of all, to me the perfect "trance" track doesn't actually need to entrance me. If I want something monotone and repetitive that puts you in a trance, I would listen to techno. It just happens that the classical music 2.0 I listen to happens to go under "trance" genre somehow.
So, the important thing to me, is that the song/tune/record/track/wave is epic as possible, and by epic, I mean:
As long as possible, else it's not epic.
As unfunky as possible, I want the harmony to be steady and flowing rather than jumping and uneven. Still kinda breakbeat-ish groovy.
A long melody/chord progression as possible, at least 16 bars. It also has to be be very dramatic and cinematic.
Several different melodies/chord progression, all fulfilling the requirements from above point.
An overall agressive and adrenalinic bassline harmony/groove/rhythm.
The same thing with the whole drums and percussions mix. A full on groove.
An atmosphere with strong influence of both science fiction and fantasy.
A typical modern, uplifting "trance", pumping sound that simulates our blood pulse system. Although not to much umpa-umpa bass, that's too cheesy to me.
An about 0,5-3 minute long classical/minimalist/ambient intro with a very sad tone to it.
The club intro and club outro as got to be longer each than the breakdown.
The last part of the intro, right before the breakdown, is melodic. By that, I mean the basses and pads changes key, but not the main sequence(s). Think Humate - Love Stimulation.
A breakdown similar to the ambient intro, but with a more suggestive and tension-building approach to it.
The climax has to be out-of-this-world-explosive, surprising and dramatic. A sidechained supersaw pad is needed here IMO.
In between climax and outro, there's a calm and subtle part that gives a very Balearic mood and atmosphere with the light percs and dreamy synths, slowly crumpling down to nothing but a lone instrument playing the hookline with big reverberation and delay. When the reverberation has died out, the outro starts.
Influences from both industrial, percussion music, progressive rock, ambient, space ambient, folk, electro, EBM, hard acid techno, minimalism and microhouse (the only kind of house music I can dig).
Now, how does your perfect track look like? Do you know any song that fulfils mine or someone else's requirements. Please let me know.

The perfect trance track for me has interesting rhythm, sounds and melodies i dont feel ive heard before... though these tracks pops up quite rarely these days.

No doubt this will get shot down since my latest musical ventures have not proven too hot by the tranceaddict.com/mafia, but I think Jochen Miller & Rank 1's "The Great Escape" was a very refreshing trance track. Sounded new and still didn't really use any new elements.
