Did you see Nigel's sign on my front lawn this past month??? !!!
I met him at the street festival this summer and he seemed to have his head in check. He asked that day if I minded a sign, and I said heck no.
Regarding Harris... Yeah he did well on some fronts... but I guess you don't know too many teachers. |

Toronto has been ignoring things like transportation for decades. Its strangling the life out of us. Ford is going to bring subways and better traffic flow.
The "progressives" were rule happy, bylaw happy, and tax happy. All very regressive if you ask me.
Its time to clean out city hall to repair the damage and make way for a true moderate in 4 years. |
Jay, I just hope you are right, as I would hate to say, 'I told you so!'. By way of a more objective assessment of Ford's tenure as mayor, I am intrigued to see where Toronto will rank in the polls/surveys in 4 years' time. |

best premier we ever had. |
One of the few politicians that actually did what he said he was going to do when elected to office.
Now think about it for a second.
A politician was voted into office, and he actually carried through with the promises that he based his entire campaign and platform on.
Wow.
And people still give him . I guess people are so used to their politicians being lying weasels that go back on their promises that when one comes along that is the exact opposite of that, they don't know what to do with themselves. |

Toronto does indeed need more subways...the problem is that Ford's plan is to bring them where they're least needed. |

I have to agree with this. He's planning on extending the Sheppard line to Morningside Rd. I think there are other places in the city that have a higher traffic volume that should be addressed prior to this. |

By removing streetcars in congested areas. Ever driven down Queen street behind a streetcar? It's hell, when it stops it blocks both lanes right in front of a green light and causes a backup in traffic.
And extending the Sheppard line to Scarborough Town Center. :P |

have you read the analysis on what taking out streetcars will do? or how much it will actually cost the city? the problem with streetcars aren't streetcars themselves, but how they are managed.
not to mention to even have the process start, he will need the councils approval. |

How did your vote go in Richmond Hill? I'm glad the Mayor is out of my town, but unfortunally 3 out of 8 councillors are back in mind :whip: |

The Sheppard line is a ghost town...Lastman used poor judgment in this decision....what a waste of 5 stations....we still have no subway to York University and none to the airport....I can't think of any major city that lacks a subway connection to the airport... |
