Indeed, a conglomorate of "heathen" (I wouldn't actually characterise any of the religions in that manner) traditions gave rise to the style in which Christmas is celebrated in various parts of the world... nonetheless, the giving of gifts has become part of the celebration. Although, I look at Christmas as two holidays... one a religious celebration the other a secular one. |

Actually, it's not that simple. If you saw it on the BBC, you probably know Richard Dawkins felt nothing when he had his head shoved inside the helmet.
Though he's probably so agnostic he must doubt even the presence of brainwaves in his head detecting a presence he cannot consciously acknowledge. |

Ancient aliens is plausible, albeit highly unlikely. If we inhabit a planet, then chances are another planet in this giingnormous universe is also inhabited. If we have the capability of traveling to other planets. Then I'm sure some other species also has that capability. However, Jesus Christ is not god. There is no logic in assuming that. |
