this is going to be my last post, and i encourage all to read it carefully.
just to clarify, i realize my words indeed sounded pompous in the original post, where i said i could make a career out of music if i wanted to. the point of me saying that wasn't to boast, but to merely convey how serious i believe the situation is, and the level of my conviction. that is all.
but i guess with some people, there's just never anything right you can say - they'll always find some excuse to attack you. and that's pretty much all i've received this entire thread, is perpetual and constant insults, name-calling, disrespectful posting of pictures, etc. and yet, i haven't once resorted to doing so.
the point of me saying this isn't to play the victim card; i'm a big boy, none of that affects me. the reason i'm pointing this out is to portray some of your guys' utter and complete hypocrisy. you accuse me of being a "conceited loser" and whatnot, when you yourselves make no effort to portray any humility whatsoever. again, this is what's called "hypocrisy", my friends.
not one individual has made a truly sincere post, asking me to elaborate on my beliefs, etc. the tone of everyone's posts has always been that of an aggressive, attacking, and condescending nature. none of you have tried to make a sincere effort to understand more where i'm coming from. instead, the reason most have responded to my words is so they can attack them and myself.
this kind of immaturity, arrogance, and close-mindedness is precisely the reason why you cannot and will not comprehend the truths i'm conveying to you. to be quite frank, until you grow up and can discuss in a mature manner subjects like this, you will remain ignorant. and to be honest, you will deserve fully what's about to happen. when the crap soon hits the fan, you will be without excuse.
now, consider these words from jesus:
"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." -Jesus, in the book of Matthew chapter 24 verses 37-39
people are, right now, for the most part, doing "normal" things. besides the current economic crisis and its subsequent effects on individuals, people are for the most part living normally. and that is how it will be when it all goes down.
there's all this talk about how there will be a plethora of "signs" and warnings before the giant cataclysms begin. they say the antichrist will show up, or people will be forced into concentration camps and be branded with a bar-code tattoo (the "mark of the beast"). but that is not how it will happen. it will happen suddenly, decisively, and unexpectedly. there will be nothing substantial to warn you, or to let you know your time is running out. you've already been warned. most of you have already made your choice to reject god. and therefore you are about to get what's coming for you.
most of you are just making a game out of this, having a ball, posting funny pictures, laughing it up with your buddies at the "crazy dude" posting nonsense.
but you are only doing yourself a giant disfavor.
again, you will be without excuse when it all goes down. you will have no one else to blame but yourself when all hell breaks loose on this planet.
you don't have to go through this upcoming period of hell-on-earth. there is a way out, and his name is jesus christ. he died 2,000 years ago, was buried, resurrected from the dead, and ascended into the heavens where he now resides in full glory and power. and he is currently offering you a free gift. a "get out of jail free card" if you will, if you would only accept it.
unfortunately, most of you are so full of pride, arrogance and ego. many of you are so puffed up with self-righteousness, telling yourself you are oh-so open-minded and intelligent for not falling for a fairy-tale like christianity. your ego is so puffed up because you've convinced yourself you're one of the "critical thinkers" who's rejected the notion of a "flying spaghetti monster."
your ego is the only thing keeping you from accepting the free gift of salvation, and you know it, deep down inside.
i am not religious. i don't even go to church. i am far from perfect. in fact i'm very, very sinful. yet i am saved - not because of any "good works" i have done, but only because of the good works jesus christ did 2,000 years ago.
"For it is by grace you are saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:9
it would be wise to accept this free gift. if you do, you will not have to go through this dreadful period of time which is about to begin.
"Because you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will keep you from the time of testing which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those living on the earth." -Jesus
"Pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and stand before the Son of Man." -Jesus |

| Xtians of every generation have believed they are the ones living in end times. That what happens when you make an idol out of an apocalyptic prophet who told his followers on several occasions that some of them would still be alive when he returned. The bottom line is that there is no evidence whatever that the biblical Jesus actually existed..nada. And even if he did, odds are he was simply the first David Koresh personality type to emerge..one of the first charismatic cult leaders to get a decent following of devoted believers. Think about it. With all of the progress and scientific knowledge we have won for ourselves over the past few centuries, many people are still joining cults..and are still persuaded that their leaders are divine prophets. They were convinced to fight to the death in places like Waco, and to commit mass suicide as in Jonestown and with the Heavens Gate cult. These were people living in modern times with access to material that dispels supernatural myths..yet they were still convinced. It's not hard to imagine how a much more ignorant, gullible, superstitious, and desperate crowd of nomads could be convinced of the same thing thousands of years ago. How sad that their delusion persists to this day. |

As always, the Italians are to blame for that. If only someone offed that wanker Constantine before 313, the cult of christianity would be dealt with in a most efficient manor (lions). Sadly nobody was smart enough to do that, so 2000 years later we are stuck with the likes of Pat Robertson, the Pope and Sarah Christine O'Donnel.
Oh sure, even today the world is full of crazy people that believe in all sorts of nonsense (im looking at you scientology and...well every other religion out there), but there was a chance to stop it early and nobody bothered to do it so here we are. Religion really is like cancer...unless you stop the spread of it early, youre pretty much ed. |
