| If there is a God, then that God should understand someone such as me, who will only believe if I have evidence for such belief. Otherwise, I will not believe because you feel you've had some spiritual experience that you "know" is real, or some ancient book says it is so, so it must be so, just because, don't ask questions, just believe and have faith! Sorry buddy, but that just doesn't fly in today's modern world. Maybe it did 2000 years ago. |

You are describing atheists, not people who believe in magic.
And you seem pretty out there even for a Christian buddy. There have been polls done among evangelicals and something like 30% of them believe the "second coming" will occur in their lifetime and the world will be destroyed..so you are in a minority even among the most devout believers. What's really unusual to see this attitude on a trance forum, which is generally a place where people embrace modernity and laugh at superstition. Before you try any sort of evangelism, it is wise to know your audience. Go post on a few church forums or other "old people" sites if you want a more credulous crowd who will bolster your faith. Many of us here have studied your religion thoroughly, given it due consideration, and comfortably dismissed it. |

Dont try and play the poor christian victim card here, it wont work. The cool kids are not just disssing christianity, the cool kids are dissing every religion because the cool kids realise that just like every other crock pot theory presented in that knee-slapping picture, its a load of bollocks, a blight upon our history, the cancer that is killing humanity, the worst thing to every happen to the human race since Firefly was cancelled and to top it off, they are just silly. |

we should draw a distinction between those that believe in god etc and just go about their day, and the conceited cretins who think they're living during the "end of days" and feel the need to post their nonsense so others may laugh at them. |
