An American 'prophet' in 2004 contributed much to a new website called 'housepricecrash.com' and in it he actualy predicted the credit crunch and used that exact term - credit crunch. He even had threads with titles like 'The great US credit Crunch, post your early signs of it here' - in 2004!!

He kept urging us to buy gold - I wish I'd taken his advice.

Funnily enough he sounded just like M4B!! I often think it's the same person - wouldn't surprise me. PS M4B - sorry to hear about the granparents man.

I don't like money. I like things. But I don't like that process of thinking about money and what things I should get. That just stresses me out. I often wish there was a type of economy where you just did what you were good at and you just had did your thing and got things and everyone got what they got depending on how good you were. And if you didn't like the government, they would whisk you off to prison in the cold somewhere and make you work in like a prison like setting. If only such a place existed and I could be in charge.

Just did some introspection and I really don't care about money but I do like to like think i'm important. And if I acquired alot of money, I could pay people to pretend i'm important like a mob guy. LIke have my own block where people are just like acting. Kinda like a show I guess but like for real. I mean reality tv but it isn't real or filmed. Just my little universe where I can go around and slap people and just be an .The thing is and I know you are thinking, this guy would be the worst if he got famous which I wouldn't because I would be quite fair in my dealing of the attitude. Like everyone gets their fair share. And some days, if I'm in a good mood, people will expect a slap but then get a hug. Now just imagine how good I made that person feel. See thats what i'm about. Making people feel good.

About money, and this is a true story. I remember I was a kid and I knew the concept of investing and I told my dad to invest in microsoft cause I was into computers when they were just popping up. He won't admit it but specifically remember going to a soccer game and I was telling him that this is going to be huge. Anyways, he made about 3 million in those like 5 years where their stock just kept climbing and only told me 2 years ago. I think I was making fun of his suite and I said he needs some better cufflinks and he showed his portfolio and laughed at me.

honestly I'm a little bit of a space cadet and my brain is always on overdrive and it just pumps out the most useless dribble. I've stopped conversations because I was annoying myself. And I just flat out said, k i'm annoying the hell out of me. Im' going. But once you just stick me a in room and say do something, I'm pretty easy to handle.

Andy Blueman to trance: "Here's the truth, I don't love you anymore, so now you can hate me."

...Not to harp on well-beaten horse's dick ligaments, but as many pointed out - Andy Blueman's productions were... average at best. I'm actually glad he's "retiring". Every time I heard his track I felt like I was about to watch Simba make sweet, sweet love to Timone's protesting rectum and then face-fornicate that monkey with a rainbow-colored face.

His tracks were so sugary sweet I had to check my blood levels to make sure I wasn't turning diabetic. It was quite clear, at least to me, that he was desperately trying to write a score for the dance floor, yet leaving everyone falling asleep... or circle-jerking, depending on the quality of copious amounts of X ingested beforehand.

It's just everything about his music irked me - the cheesy melody, the "over the top" theatrics. I may have not finished a track but at least I have a decency not to play it in public.

Time to rest, Andy...

Wow. Thank you. I didn't realize there was a producer I could possibly loathe more than AB... well, perhaps Tiesto... until now.

This is beyond cliche cheese. , this was cliche cheese back in like 1995, before Robert Miles made it popular. Holly crap it's bad... it's like Numa Numa - you can't help but stand in awe of it's epic crappiness.

Mother of God, this entire post is one giant cluster of your own biases being unfairly directed towards a musician. It ing pisses me off that people can actually go around saying like this and actually think they're saying anything remotely subjective, let alone intelligent.

What the flying is wrong with people in this forum. What is so hard about just letting people enjoy different music than you without having to judge them as if they're "below" you for liking something else. Why people considering other music to be "emotionally pre-pubescent" or relating it to gay furry is your own problem, keep it to your ing selves. Who do you think you're impressing by writing long winded posts preaching on how a style of music isn't good because it doesn't fit what you consider to be good music? How can someone possibly convince themselves that their own musical tastes are suddenly a universal, subjective view on what's good and bad in music? As if anyone who disagrees or maybe likes something you don't like is wasting their time on "amateur" music, instead of listening to what you like, which is the real good stuff?

THAT. Seriously. I don't like dubstep. I ing hate every bit of it that I've heard and I can't imagine why anyone would enjoy listening to it. But you know what? I didn't go into that dubstep discussion thread once because I know why I don't like it. It's just not a style I enjoy, it's too based on energy and rhythm and I enjoy melodic music instead. But, you didn't see me go into that thread touting off "why the would people listen to dubstep, this is garbage" out of the common courtesy of not being a complete , interrupting a discussion just to be a prick to people because they like what I don't like. Or trying to come up with bull reasons why it's inherently bad -- "dubstep has very boring melodic songwriting, what a genre". That's what I think but since it's irrelevant and makes absolutely no sense as a reason why other people shouldn't like it, I keep the thread closed and my mouth shut. And considering how that 2010 album list bull System-J felt was necessary to make, I'm willing to bet not many other people did the same as me.

You guys seriously need to start paying me and the other decent people around here at least some courtesy. I know this is the internet and you think you're tough trying to tell people what to like, but you just come off as some whiny immature douche to me. Get the over yourselves.

Kysora
ing hell I'm turning into Robbie.

And that was obviously not directed towards the people commenting on his chances as a film producer from a subjective standpoint. At least you're adding to a discussion instead of acting like some elitist bitch.

You'll see. I'm graduating on a business plan for a record label which has alternative ways of making money with music and alternative ways of spreading it. These two combined will make a unique platform that as such does not exist yet but is very viable. There's plenty oppurtunities out there if one is willing to think outside the box and take a small risk and put in tons of effort. Most labels don't think or take risks and do what everyone else does, in a lot of cases even the effort put in isn't what it should be.

I think my label's first release will already surpass the 1000 legal downloads within the first month. The businessplan should be finished this summer and after that I plan on launching the entire thing asap.

Considering that digital downloads are growing exponentially and the success of platforms like iTunes and Beatport being used as good examples, it seems to me like there is plenty of money to be made if you know how to.
