| funny, we have Al Jazeera here, and it's actually a good news station. they just report facts, instead of "experts" who have to give their analysis on a situation, and hypothesis how bad something is going to be. |

| The best thing Egypt can do now is to introduce Randomocracy. It is the only solution. |

If I didn't like you as much as I do, I'd relish this irony. Now I'm just sad for the both of us.
Here's to a free press. |

lol i was referring to foxnews and cnn back home...whenever there's something bad going on , they always bring out an "expert". some douche who isn't really *always* the expert (something though). but all they talk about is how bad it's going to be (i.e. 3948752093458 PEOPLE ARE DEAD FROM KATRINA). or put in their political thoughts on how gov't should act. it's almost like watching a sports ocmmentator, "well if he hadn't passed the ball 4 plays ago, they would have scored by now:rolleyes: that's what i would have done 18 years ago when i was a starting player"
watching al jeez, all it is is video with a voice in the background (usually of british decent, actually). and it just explains what is going on without any opinions/commentary put into it.
it's just one of the random things i've been noticing over here. to be honest, sometimes it's nice to just hear facts, and not someone's "expert" opinion on a situation that's far removed from them, is all i'm saying. |

well bas you probably didnt know this about me but im very passionate about this whole "egypt" thingy. cause as a kid i always wanted to play lead guitar in a metal band, and always envisioned myself doing a concert in egypt doing a guitar solo on the very top of a pyramid

well contrasting to what the egyptian state television is publicizing, i think it still sums up to slightly conservative, wheras midpoint is unbiased :p |
