| I still can’t believe how some people are playing down this disaster. Do we need to have one million dead people before you finally realize how serious this situation really is? This disaster is here to stay with us for the years to come and we don’t even know the impact it will have on marine life and the ocean. |

exactly what i've been trying to say for the last 30 pages and all i'm told is i'm overreacting. When all my arguments are proven right i'm sure as hell going to be "putting it in your face" and calling you "stooopid"
ing radiation reached ontario already, how much more needs to happen before people realize the magnitude of this? cancer rates increase or just sudden deaths? |

fly over to Japan and help with relief efforts, otherwise shush already.

Running around and screaming might be your way of dealing with a disaster but not mine. The least we can do is to make sure that the people in charge know that they can’t just walk away from this and that they can’t play down this disaster. We are talking about human lives in danger here. We are talking about our world and our environment.
This disaster will affect many other generations after we are gone. Also please don’t tell me what I can or cannot do about the relief efforts. How do you know what I’ve done and what I have contributed to help the people in Japan? I don’t have to fly anywhere to help the relief efforts and I can voice my concerns on this matter no matter where I am. |

I never said it wasn't a serious situation over there. Just that the media was blowing it way out of proportion (based on the known facts at the time)...
