Well, how can i entertain you? |
Maybe put on a mask and dance around to "Me So Horny" while jerking off a large, black, phallic object that you hold between your legs?
Or something. |

That is indeed the question. People can wear whatever they please, and anybody who has a problem with that should move to North Korea. I hear they have a dress code there. Ya know the Nazis had a dress code for the Jews during WWII too.
There are certain occasions where the wearing of gym shorts or sweatpants is iffy at most. College classes are certainly not one of them. |
Nice Reductio ad Hitlerum right there. I think people should have some god damn self respect, look good, and dress appropriate for the situation; therefore, I am an evil authoritarian leader.
You really think that wearing gym shorts or sweatpants is only "iffy" at most in some situations? |

I think that wearing gym shorts to a university lecture is not a crime against humanity. |

I never said that either. I just said it's inappropriate for the situation and makes the wearer look stupid and immature. |

Also, THERES A ING REASON WHY THEY ARE CALLED GYM SHORTS, and to answer your other question, THE FASHION INDUSTRY DECIDED YOU CAN'T WEAR THEM WHEREVER YOU WANT.
Its almost the same thing as saying its totally fine to wear short shorts to a date or late at night. |

Right, "the situation" which is a college class. Wearing gym shorts out to a bar/club or on a date is not appropriate. Wearing them to class is a completely different story. |

| i think it's pretty circumstantial... i mean, i went to medicine hat college for post secondary education. even the professors don't take themselves seriously there. If you are in the nursing program, after a while i think you're expected to wear scrubs, and business administration you wear buisness attire, and so on. If it's just general studies, or a lecture etc. i don't think anyone would think twice what you wear. If i were attending a big deal university, perhaps i see where lews is comming from, but for the most part i agree that it shouldn't really matter. |
