Damn right, what a douche:mad:

Real hard men dance shirtless for at least an hour (which was me and one other guy on acid).

Pretty great, great sound system, great (and fairly reasonable djs) for the most part and some great decos.

Most of all really amazing people there, and every 3rd person had a giant bag of mushrooms and there was so much generosity going round.

First videos of it up on youtube

Pretty blurry and stuff though.

It depends on what your definition of it is. I've heard the term thrown around plenty of times before, but I've never been 100% certain as to what it truly means.

But for me, this one experience was the closest I believe I have ever gotten to such a state. It was winter of 2008 and I was living in the Bay Area at the time. A friend of mine had just picked up a vial of liquid acid and wanted to test it out, so I volunteered and she took me back to her place in SF to fry. She put two drops each on some chewing gum and we absorbed it that way.

It hit fast. By 50 minutes in I was watching her kitchen rug spiral all around while visuals on the flat screen tv were actually shooting out into the walls. By two hours in I was frying so hard that I suffered temporary amnesia. I could no longer remember who I was or how I came to end up in this room. I also had no idea who my friend was, I just knew that she had taken some drugs herself and was also in a different state of mind. It must have hit her pretty hard too, because she kept turning to me every few minutes, looking confused, as if she didn't know what to make of me being in her house with that gone expression I had on my face. The next 30 minutes was pretty awkward to say the least.

Eventually, bits and pieces of my memory came back, and I sort of relived certain moments of my life as I remembered them, a few of them being quite painful. I wouldn't say it was terrifying or horrible, but it was a difficult trip. I spent the next hour and a half trying to figure out who this Jason character was, and what exactly made him tick. I'm pretty sure I referred to myself in the third person quite a few times, both my friend and her roommates must have been amused by that.

Has anyone here tried DMT? I was offered it once in Vancouver 4 years ago but that was before I knew what it was. Looking back I really wonder what I would have done if I knew what it was. I love tripping and used to trip a lot (shrooms and acid) but DMT sounds like its on a whole other level.

Yeah, that's not ego-death, you just tripped really hard. Ego death is the complete dissolving of your ego i.e. what makes you you. You don't have a conscious mind in the sense that "you" cannot think, and you have no awareness of your body or surroundings. The "trip" is pure experience. It's actually quite hard to describe, but it seems like another dimension. It's not like seeing things in a warped way or hallucinating fractals or anything like that, it's your entire existence being transformed into something completely foreign to anything on this earth. Again, it's hard to describe, but if you've experienced it, you'd know it for sure.

It is. It's nothing like shrooms or acid. It wasn't pleasant for me, but I know a lot of people who love it. It's also somewhat difficult to achieve the desired effect. Most people try and fail a few times before they're actually able to "break through." It's interesting that DMT is released naturally in your brain at the moment of death (and some people believe in small quantities during dreams) but every account I've heard from other people, as well as from my experience, describes one common denominator, and that is a sense of being thrust down a seemingly infinite tunnel towards a light at the end. Interestingly, that is also frequently reported by people who have had near death experiences, or people who have been pronounced dead, but subsequently revived. I don't think I'll ever do it again (until I eventually have to :p ) but I would say if you have an open mind, and are willing to experience something that you could never possibly comprehend, you should try it. You can learn a lot about yourself.

I wanna try it :(

You can make it yourself. I believe the ingredients necessary for it are legal and can be purchased online.

once took too much shrooms and had ego death. Got sucked into a light tunnel and in short time i became nothing and everything at the same time. Actually time was completely irrelevant during this little period, i saw near future before i saw present (not easy to explain but basically i foreseen what a person would respond before i would actually ask him question by over half hour earth time).

After seeing the tunnel i got back to earth and didn't know who or what i was, what the things around me were and etc. Not a very pleasant experience but it really turned my life upside-down in a very good way.

Another thing I noticed and that was described similarly by other people from doing DMT, was that that "tunnel" was lined by little figures (often little green alien looking things as funny as that sounds) who appear to have been controlling every aspect of your life. They're the ones pushing you along, and you can see prior memories or ideas that are held by them. Very weird, and kind of gives you a visual representation of your decision making process. It's kind of funny thinking about little green men telling you what to do all the time :haha:

My flatmate at the time didn't want to go missioning with us on one of our trips, so we left him by himself at the house for a few hours. When we got back he was half naked, having just shaved nearly all the hair off his body. Because it was "singing to him, and he didn't like the song" :wtf: :stongue:
