i was already pretty experienced in quite a few substances before mushies - but yeah :
the first time i had the full mushy experience i was sitting in a backyard on a balmy aussie summer night. the entire universe became so simple - i could command my entire environment - including the thoughts of the people around me - while at the same time having totally lost all semblance of ego. was able to do some seriously freaky - and i had witnesses.
i remember before falling asleep doing everything in my power to remember this knowledge/skill that i had acquired for use in normal life - almost in tears at what i had discovered and knowing id forget when i woke up.
and of course i did.
honestly the closest ive gotten to a 'divine' experience.
have done em a couple times since and had a few little funny things happen - always enjoy seeing in digital - but yeah nothing like that first proper time. |

Yeah I'm not surprised that the preferences on here has varied so much from member to member. Heck, even 3-4 years ago I would have said that acid was more unpredictable than shrooms, simply because upping the dosage is more harder to control. With shrooms, you can eat another cap and have your trip increase a little bit. With acid, you can eat another tab and then watch your whole trip intensify considerably. But after my own dabbling with psychs, I seem to prefer the synthetic over the natural, and even then I'd only take it a couple of times in the year. But if a group of my friends all decided to shroom one night, I'd probably join them and eat a half eighth or so. |

So I just came back from royal doof which was ing amazing.
Everyone there was a serious mushroomhead. Including the 50 year old farmer guys, who ate tons of shrooms and then drank heaps of beer (like a normal person)... although their conversations weren't exactly normal. |
