| Anyone know if they are still legal in Amsterdam? I went in 2006 and tripped 3 times in one week! I'm going back in a couple weeks and looking forward to some magic truffles, but I hear they are now illegal, super shame if its true. |

Weird. When I was there Magic Truffles were another name for the Philosopher Stones (which were normal shrooms). Or at least I thought so?

Oh and srussell, on the topic of shrooms causing an upset stomach, you should have a go at ayahuasca.

I tried it last year. I've an extremely strong stomach, but I threw up violently about three hours in, all over the hotel bathroom. ing awful trip overall, too. That's why shrooms are better than acid, too. If things are going badly, it's over much sooner. |

I haven't done acid in many ,many years but I would definitely try it again...
Problem is that you need 2 days for the trip where as zoomers, you're done after 7 or 8 hrs...
On acid, I never really hallucinated. It was more of a constant laughing at everything and walking around with a retarded perma-grin...

I'm really interested in this type of stuff, but as I've said before, panic / anxiety disorders most likely do not mesh well with psychadelics. I love pot, but I'm sure that's a completely different story. The most potent pot brownies I've ever had put me in an extremely awful place, and I'm sure tripping, while entirely different, would probably not be a good idea for me personally.
I can't try anything until I'm off prozac though, heard it pretty much kills the trip of certain drugs, and contraindicates to a dangerous degree with others. |

I've never had it that bad. Just a moderately upset stomach for pretty much the entire trip. And I've never had a bad trip on acid, and I've had many on shrooms. I feel like it's much easier to calm yourself down if you do start having the makings of a bad trip on acid too.
I also tend to feel more socially awkward while tripping on shrooms, mostly around people who I know are not tripping. I'm usually able to go out in public and have even ate at nice restaurants while tripping on acid, but I'd never even think about doing that on shrooms.
Isn't Ayahuasca used in making DMT? Because DMT is in a whole other league :eyespop: |
