So guys, there's a debate as to whether this is more the effects of amanita muscaria or the psilocybin mushrooms?
I've done both, although probably only really a medium amount of the fly agarics... so never really hallucinated that much although a little.
Also am I the only person who gets their memory seriously ed by amanita muscaria? I don't mean on them, but for about a week afterward my memory is noticably worse, I don't get this with anything else... even if I smoke weed heavily (4+ times a day) for 4 days.
I'm kinda scared they're doing long term damage to my memory.

So, what do you guys think of the whole shrooms vs acid debate that seems to happen like everywhere?
Haven't taken acid, been a bit scared to personally as it seems a lot more complicated as well as introspective.

I've found it to be quite the opposite. Almost every time I've taken shrooms I've had some level of anxiety at various times throughout the trip. I also felt very uncomfortable around anyone who I knew wasn't tripping. With acid I've never had any kind of anxiety, and felt completely comfortable in social settings. I think it's entirely possible to be around someone who's tripping on acid, and never know it.
I felt a bit scared before my first time doing acid as well, but I've found it to be much more enjoyable than shrooms. I also didn't get the nausea that I get every time I eat shrooms. I guess from my experience shrooms are a more emotional trip, whereas acid is more mental or thought oriented.

I've had quite a lot of both over the years, but have never had a bad trip off either. Thankfully.
I find acid is WAAAAY more powerful though, and far more of a "gritty/chemical" feeling, rather than a more organic feeling like I've always found shrooms to be. Acid just lasts for so long though! And considering what you can go through on a trip that long, it really wears out your mind. Towards the end of the experience, can get pretty funky and hectic, especially if you're in a group of multiple trippers.
ing so much fun though. Some I will never, in my life, forget.

So I just saw some kids on the train who were all on shrooms, they seemed to be quite amused by everything. My friend reckons this season is a really good mushroom season here.

It's been very hit or miss for me. Either I'm having some of the best times of my life or I think I'm about to die or am running away from zombies or other scary . One time I ate 5 grams worth of these shrooms with these ultra fat caps. First couple of hours was not fun at all. Then there was the time I thought I had talked to God, but all he ever said was how much he loved me despite asking him tons of questions about the universe and life...ty.
Yeah, it always seems like I hit one extreme or the other while shrooming. Now that I've gotten older, I prefer things that relax me and mellow me out a bit. If I were to take a psychedelic again, it would probably be acid. Shrooms are just unpredictable as , even when I try hard to keep myself in controlled settings. And music always sounds better to me on acid than on shrooms.

Ha, wow, I would personally say that acid is WAY more unpredictable than shrooms.
Like I think I said earlier in this thread though, it's very VERY much a personal thing with psychedelics. Completely different effects between people.
