All of Emily Bronte's writing is like that. It's just so dreary that it's depressing even reading it.

What do you mean by "all" of it? Wuthering Heights was her only novel. Unless you're referring to her poetry.

Yeah, one of my professors in college was obsessed with her stuff. We had to read the entire Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell. I think I read somewhere that the majority of those were Emily's (Ellis).

Just out of curiosity, where did you stop reading GoT?

I forced myself to finish the book. And promptly found a new series to get into, I ended up settling on the Malazan Book of the Fallen by Steven Erikson, I'm 3 books in and they've all been amazing.

I hated Steven King's "Dreamcatcher". Horrendous. I'm annoyed with his writing style in several of his books as it is, with how he feels the need to fully express every idea at least 25 different times.

Your criticism would be slightly more credible if you at least spelled his name right. :o

That's why I can bash Ulysses, I don't have to bother with facts getting in the way of my opinion. :toothless
And I surely won't read that 700 page monstrosity to conform that it sucks hard. More so since I claim it's mostly unreadable. :)

Im going to be a douche and put something I've never read but plan to read so i can bash it more. im going ot have to bash all of jacques derrida's works blindly for now.
