It will never be about me. It will always be about other people. But that philosophy shouldn't be realized through alcohol usage.
A man who lived near me was drunk and very friendly to me, wanted to know about me. I thought he was going to be a true friend until I saw him the next day looking sober. He saw right passed me like I didn't exist.
I know Jesus drank wine, but he was also caring when he was sober. Love is only sincere when we're sane and don't take in external things to change who we are. |

Adolf Hitler wasn't an anomaly. Hitler was what everyone has the potential of becoming. If it wasn't for the common grace of God, we would make Hitler look like a choir boy.
Imagine for yourself an 18 month old baby that you're holding in your arms, and it sees a shiny watch on your wrist. He frails his arms for the watch and cries like crazy. I submit to you, that if that 18 month old baby had the strength of an 18 year old man, he would slaughter me where I stand, rip the watch off my wrist, and walk away without an ounce of remorse.
Even if a person with leprosy was taped up, he would appear to be normal for a few hours. But soon the corruption of his flesh will go right through the first aid coverings and he'll be that disdainful lepor again.
My point is, men are evil! |
