i think he is trolling. his video submission show that he does listen to some decent stuff... yet he be trolling in here...

maybe i should not use the word trolling. to troll mean to achieve people laughter at some one/others expense. He is just annoying.

believe me man i understand the nostalgia of the old trance scene... been in it since 2000. the music and the scene has changed for sure but calling armin washed up is a bit of a stretch - dudes still at the top of his game and has held onto "real trance" whatever that means better than pretty much anyone else from back in the day.

ik this topic has been beat to death but if any of us were 20 now instead of 10 years ago we'd be all over w&w and dada life. i think the music was really just a part of the time that we all get nostalgic about. at least that how i look at it.

btw that unicorn/minimal/horse line was classic. :haha:

not trolling obv sometimes i feel like escalates kinda quickly on here.

i understand what you mean, i sometimes look back thru my music files and cd's and i say to myself "wow i actually liked this?"

but i dunno about w&w,trouse,dubstep
i dont think i would have ever gotten into stuff like that. just not my sound at all

hey man its not about what you like and what you shouldn't like. its about abusing the name to promote and market with trance, but yet being no way close to trance. completely different genres and build up. like i said it is closer to house.

this has always been a problem. because now the real trance producers are not recognized because they don't play radio trouse. everyone is upset because we can't get real talent anymore, or as often. The standard to fill a venue has expanded with this trouse . Promotors are afraid to book real talent because the demographic is small for them now. trouse killed the demographic of trance. 2000' era people are getting to old to come out(married and life happens) and not enough new kids are converted because they are being fed trouse via marketing. this is making it hard for people like me to go out and enjoy a nice festival.

there are a lot of other ty music out there (ie: teen pop) but there is only one reason we attack this so called trouse. because it is killing our scene.

this is really true
it used to be about the music
now its about social media, how many radio hits you got,dj mag poll number, does trance family support you? etc etc

if a new dj/producer comes out with a few catchy tunes that has all the big name dj's supporting him than he will get booked no matter how good or bad his dj skills are

trance family is probly the biggest marketing machine of all the genres in edm
Neonbeats
So who are the "real" trance producers and what are the tracks?
