Pier 94 is already booked. The other ones are significantly smaller than 94.
I dont' want to speculate anymore... I'm not liking where this is going lol.
As for the Marquee thing... I was worried he might debut at one of the new clubs. :-/ |

Pier 36 is another one that is just as big as Pier 94. I think Deadmau5 had a NYE party there last year, maybe this year it's Armin? |

I think your misconstruing it... he announced at Lavo (which already happened) he's playing in NYC NYE. That article is not saying he's doing it at Lavo. |

| It's the consistency of Armin that gets to me. He says this whole thing of "Who's afraid of 138?" ...Well who are you asking Armin because nobody is actually afraid of 138. Just try to play it for more than a couple of tracks in your sets and watch what happens. You're not going to lose the crowd. As a matter of fact, the opposite will happen. They will get even more into it. I was at ASOT 550 in LA and the crowd was eating Aly & Fila and JOC's sets. They were absolutely loving the 140 driving, melodic, in-your-face type of trance. And the fan base consisted of 16-24 year old candy kids getting high off their faces. The same type of fans you see at a SHM, Guetta, etc. gigs. If anybody is to guide/educate these new generation of fans into what 140 trance is, it's Armin. He holds that torch (which is unfortunate because his live sets do not sound like his 2nd hour of his ASOT's). To me, it's all about a DJ's livesets when it comes to what type of music they're actually supporting. And as much as Armin might say he's one of the few top DJ's left supporting the 140, i'm rarely seeing it in his livesets. I hope he takes the New Yorkers on a solid trance journey and isn't afraid of unleashing some of that pure trance sound. He said in an interview he'll be bringing newer artists to the ASOT Tour next year but we'll see what happens. |

| hopes may just be a little to high for this one. Hammerstein 7+ would be ideal. I hope he plays amazing cause i sold my markus at avalon ticket just to stay in the city and see armin with gf family and friends. I just hope he mixes an extended set like we know he can, sorta like the 09 roseland set. fingers crossed |
