you cant be serious with this comment?
90's trance boring? oh wait you just said the asot tracklist "looks good" /thread your taste in music says it all

time after time your credibility seems to fail.
i know you could careless since it's only a messageboard and i dont blame you but after making comments like that proves how clueless you really are about the scene. you are just a poser
you were all happy about this event at first now you could all of a sudden careless lol yea ok you will be there front and center stop it

iam gonna leave it at that, argueing back and forth is not even worth it anymore. in the future i would either think before you post or just dont post at all
you make a real ass outta yourself

Um yeah I grew up listening to 90s trance and loved it at the time, but it's boring and dated now. I don't mind trouse at all. I like trance and house and find trouse catchy and good to dance too. Trouse is great for big rooms and spices up trance sets nicely.

I'm sure you don't even listen to ASOT anymore to even know wtf Armin is playing, but you just write off anything from him since he's not underground enough for you. There are a ton of good tracks on that playlist.

This event will be tons of fun. I'm not going to it since its a little bit too expensive and I'd rather wait until ASOT600. I'm going to the Luciano party, but guess what, Luciano is no better than Armin. He's the Avicii of the tech house world. Do I care? Nope cause it's a fun party.

So keep scratching dat chin telling other people how their completely subjective music cred is.

you do realize that he doesn't play 90% of those banging tracks from asot during his live sets right?

not sure what's happening in this thread but i just want to point out that having fun at parties is what you make of it.

i'm not going to this expecting to hear armin drop 'blue fear' and take me on a special trance journey. it was definitely overpriced and with XM recording, he'll definitely play cheese.

but i'm going with all of my real close, personal friends and the girl i'm seeing and those are the people i want to be with at midnight when the new year turns. even if they were going to an avicii show, i'd still go because i find it more important to be with my peeps than to complain about the music being played.

i can be as snobby about dance music as anyone else here but lets not forget that the whole point of dance music is to have fun (at least i think it is? and maybe to dance?). not saying all of this to justify me going to this party but just to lighten the mood and remind everyone that the thing that matters most at these live shows is enjoying yourself with friends and good company.

it's obviously a lot easier to have fun when the music doesn't blow, agreed, but it's really not that serious. armin is doing a 4 hour set, on new year's, at midnight, with a 21+ crowd and a great production.. life could be worse

During his last broadcasted live set (I think it was the Ibiza closing party) the last hour was pretty banging, as was his ministry of sound DJ Mag party set

Hi,

I'm here in NY for two weeks and I got a ticket for Armin's NYE party. I'm looking for people to go with. I think it would be more fun to party with trance lovers than just dancing with random people. I have the general admission ticket. Reply to this thread if you wanna go together.

Long live trance!

(P.S. I'll be wearing an Armin shirt)

What's going on is some of us is taking some things said WAY too seriously.

I wish you guys have fun at this party and see you all at the Luciano. And to those guys who like the underground trance, you all suck (aldi, burak, aystar)

Yeah bro I wish they were playing boring underground 90s trance that 3 people still listen to. Move on. I'll be at Luciano which will serve as a nice preview to BPM. Get your game up.

You had to rub it in and state that you're going to BPM. Oh that's right you go to like EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, ALL THE TIME.

I owe you a beer at Luciano for your awesomeness. And I hope you do reveal yourself because I don't think most people here know who you really are.

PS. I don't care about what's being played at Armin and could careless about 90s,20s or underground trance, or never really liked it in general. Techno ftw son!
