As for my review:

Having not been to DEMF in 2 years, it was nice to spend a full weekend there with friends, good music, and in general, a little vacation. A good omen for a good weekend was getting stuck in the Marriott elevator with Nicole Moudaber who is a funny one to chat with. Over the 3 days, there were tons of people I was surprised I didn't run into. I guess everyone was on different levels lol. I must be getting old cuz I'm pretty sure I slept half the time I was there. Getting to the festival around 3pm everyday and leaving around 1030.

I made it to the Jak party. That venue is something else that's for sure. Being a goth bar, the decorations were certainly interesting. When word that the cops were coming and watching the bartenders scramble to hide everything was quite funny. Richie played well although the sound was too bass heavy. With earplugs in, it was a muffled mess. Carlo told me was playing 4-6 and was getting pissed off that Richie wasn't getting off. I left with a blurry drunkenness and found out later that there was another room where 30 people had ended up finding. My mistake for not being more exploratory (although the place was a mess).

Bought tickets for the Pullen party and to support Barato with a treat of Moudaber but as mentioned earlier, too much boozing and not enough food, I ended up leaving the festival around 9 and stayed in my hotel till 2pm the next day haha.

Got to the festival around 4 once everyone got their gears in order and enjoyed the rest of the day dancing in the rain with friends. Left around 1130 when people started getting too wet and hung out a friends hotel.

Good times but wished I spent more time at the festival at least and saw more djs. I have mixed feelings bout the new BP. It made it difficult finding people and the space was a lot more crammed. There is word that the festival is going to relocate since it seemed this year was ready to burst from the seams. Hopefully this review isnt too disorganized. I'm still piecing it together :happy2:

They were on fire all weekend long... but I missed both times they played. I did catch the beginning of their set at Old Miami, but my crew wanted to leave and rest up a bit for the rest of the day. :(

Very enjoyable set except after the hour or so.

I like it very much... also, around that time is when it was coming down HARD and they were constantly moving stuff around to set up Digweed.

It's better than I remembered! (Considering it was one of the only sets I did remember) <3
