There was absolutely no way I was going to this thing.....until I read Nat's review of the NYC party. When tatgirl describes something as one of the best parties ever, I need no further convincing.
I am, of course, expecting a full refund from Nat if I'm disappointed in any way. :D

Again, once you get there and see the production and feel the vibe, you'll know you made a great choice.
It's really unfortunate to know that so many old school TA's have no interest in this because they have either become techno music snobs or think this is too commercial or whatever, when they would've killed to attend this 5 or 10 yrs ago. Well, ID&T is bringing it to their front door, and now they snub their noses at it. All I can say is: their loss. Unless ID&T comes back, they may never see a production like this again in N. America.
My tip for everyone: arrive EARLY. This is not a party you want to be casually late for. The intro is important and kicks off the party. And in NY (at least the 1st night, not sure if Sat was any better) security stopped letting people onto the floor within minutes of the beginning to avoid overcrowding. Eventually they would let people down there but in waves, so sometimes you had to wait a good while. If that happens to you, just go enjoy yourself in the stands until you see the traffic flowing again. |

and its true what tatgirl said, show up early, the intro is amazing!
In Amsterdam, they didnt even block off the floor entrance, it was open all night, even thou it is a bigger stadium...
and we gotta like the fact its +19 on the 100 and floor levels... hopefully they open up the upper levels(500 level) for the kids... it would be awesome to totally jam the skydome! |

That's actually not all that bad... fun even.
A party is what you make of it, but I can also understand why people would be apprehensive about dropping that kind of cash on something they don't know if they're sure about yet. I would go if it wasn't for DEMF sucking up all my energy and money the week before. |
