grabbed a pair of tix, hopefully some of the djs don't suck
i also hear there is no reserved seating and no difference between a floor ticket and stands ticket (unless you buy vip). so basically if you get there too late, you're not getting access to the floor
Thats how it worked in Brooklyn, doors were at 7pm and when we got there at 8:15-8:30pm the floor was already packed and there were lines to get down.
However, if you waited in line for a bit you were able to get down. They just did a really good job at making sure it didn't get intensely crowded like an SHM show, so once you made it down you found yourself with a comfortable amount of room to dance.
Also, the rogers center has a far bigger floor space than the barclays center since its doubles as a baseball field so I think it should be less of an issue...

@jchung52: I have no affiliation to Sensation other than being a big fan. I've been waiting for Sensation to come to Canada for ages. That is why I seem so passionate although it's also frustration at people asking questions about the show when the answers are out there, if they took 5 min to look at Sensation's website or at the youtube videos of past events.
I don't get why people are bitching at wearing white. Bal en Blanc requires it, even though they don't enforce it. By the way, if you go shopping in downtown Montreal the week before Bal en Blanc, you will find stores (like Le Chateau) catering to that crowd with plenty of white clothes. with this http://www.lechateau.com/style/jump...ctedColor=White
and you're set.
Concerning DJ lineups, stop asking !! They never reveal those in advance. You just have to check other Sensation events before the Canadian one, to see that other than the Belgium and Romanian events, no lineups have been announced. You just have to assume that there won't be any trance DJs. These events haven't been about trance for ages. So if you're expecting that, you'll be disappointed.

I find that a little weird. Music events, asking you to pay for tickets without knowing what music will be played?
Glastonbury I get, but a one off in Toronto? A few names would be helpful.
FunkyCrew
why don't they just announce the major headliner(s)? it will really suck for ppl with tix if they line-up is lukewarm
hardcore trancer
Basically they are telling people to just trust them and assume that the lineup will be somewhat good?:p

they just want the money upfront
WittyHandle
For all I know it's a great party, but I personally wouldn't want to be around a lot of people who went to a music event without knowing who's playing.
PivotTechno
You kidding? You're all independently wealthy, so stop bitching about the unannounced lineup, and just shell out your $125 - $250, already. Even if you think the music might not suit your tastes, or might be absolute crap, you should still pay, because...well...there's lights and stuff...and everyone's wearing white...and they hold this event in other cities...and...JUST SHUT UP AND PAY!!

Ah, TranceAddict banter, how I've missed your entertainment value.

I find their production is actually pretty fascinating. This is a video of The making of Sensation Amsterdam '12 Source of Light.

Tenaglia's take on Sensation White- " it's not just ear candy it's going to be a lot of eye candy" Lol! I love this guy.

People are acting like the Sensation group are a bunch of nazis and the only ones in the world that expect you to fork over your money without a hint of a DJ line up... How dare they ? That is so unfair ... whine, whine, whine
Let me refer you to this thread: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...s=#.UTgTdTvfCSo
where Playgroung productions expects you to give them your hard earned cash ($100) on presale tickets for an event where people wear white, there will be 2 rooms, but the DJs will come later. Although one thing is sure, there will be some cheese from DJ Mag's top ten DJs. The sale starts Nov 17th. The first 1000 tickets @ 100 sell out in a few minutes with the next tickets costing $125. It's only on Dec 7th that the first DJ is announced.
