I'm just really glad for the seating in the 100's section. I think I'm too old (actually I know I am)..i need to sit down for a bit for a party that's a few hours or longer lol
but the view and room was much better in the seating area anyways..stage was so tall that at floor level, I was just looking at a wall lol

I had a great time. I got there at 11 but for the time I was there, it was fun times for sure. Fedde wasn't good at all with lack of flow and super cheesy track selection which was expected so I wasn't let down. I spent most of his set wandering around trying to find people. Prydz started out Pryda style but flowed his set into some techno which got everyone going.
Overall expectations were exceeded. 30,000 people is quite an adventure. I was definitely impressed with the sound. All in all, had a great time with friends from London and Toronto. Half the fun was running into people randomly

Thanks to everyone that made it out for our innaugral Sensation event this past weekend. As you can tell from the pictures, it was an amazing show. Some very minor fixes for next time but overall it was an off the hotel window home run IMO. See you all at Digital Dreams in less than a month!

Wonderful event!
honestly Eric Prydz was off his game. I love his stuff but I felt that was simply no flow to his set whatsoever and your sorta need that with the tracks he plays.
Music the rest of the night was great and I really enjoy Sunnery James and Marciano.
What a sensational stage though (you see what i did there...clever). Certainly lived up to the expectations from a production stand point.
Down point of the night - trying to find a cab afterwords in the rain. We must have walked the streets for an hour and a half. No body was going west cuz the Gardiner was closed.
Up point of the night - FRIENDS!

Happy to read everyone enjoyed themselves, with all the negativity on here leading to the event...
as expected fedde was not very good, 2000andOne was excellent, Prydz was great, and Sunnery and Ryan were really good...
biggest issue was when they dropped that rock tune.... was it Nirvana??? it was fun but just didnt fit...
I do believe Sunnery/Ryan dropped Adagio for Strings which was really fun to hear...
for the first time in a long time, the next day i had that "i wanna go back" feeling all day lol
Hopefully they come back next year with Sensation Black

I'm glad that it turned out well, but I'm still glad I didn't go (...well, ignoring the fact that I'm in the UK and therefore can't go and all).

Some amazing pics on this thread!
Anyways, my crew and I had a BLAST! Was great to run into some friendly TA's and hang (you know who you are), and everyone we met on the floor was super nice.
Was surprised that the intro didn't happen at the very beginning, as it did at the one in NYC, and instead occurred between Mr. White & 2000 and One's set. That threw things off for me a bit. The stage, decor and performances were amazing at this setup (performances were better in TO). DJ wise, thought most did a great job, though I thought Fedde was a bit all over the place (preferred him in NY), and Otto Knows was all over the map, both throwing in some cheese. Our group liked Prydz the best.
Sucked having to walk 1 hr in the rain to catch a cab, but 3 of us headed to the Guv to show it to my friend from NJ, where we stayed til close for a Mark Oliver set. Back to the hotel for more jokes and shenanigans. Fun times had by all.

I thought he was gonna play the first 45secs of the tune like in most dj sets you give a nice little tease, but then it kept going... i was like really, this is not working...
its like he was thinking "oh yeah these Canadians love rock music, so lets play one for them"
i am cheesed Mr.White didnt play that old "Mr.White" tune from years ago, i was praying for it....
