There was no reason why they could not have booked a better line-up for Toronto. I am really disappointed having bought my ticket.

I agree Toronto has a developed underground scene, but I think 2000 and one and Prydz will definitely be covering the tech-house and progressive genres. Fedde Le Grand definitely pushes cheese these days, but I think he dials it back to more feel good/tech house for sensation. Most of the artists don't play the same stuff they would at a festival but more what fits the sensation vibe. And given the selection of artists from the pool of contracts they have, this isn't the worst combination. Except Otto knows, I really could do without that booking, I really couldn't care less about "million voices" or whatever. Put another good tech-house guy in his place

Amen
I thought it'd be incremental ticket prices so I could easily flip it for more later but it doesn't appear to be like that. My only hope is that it sells out which will make my tickets more valuable.

I don't get why there's so little support for this event. I can't really speak for Otto Knows, but the rest of the guys will play a good mix of non-mainstream house and tech-house that suits the sensation brand. Again, with the exception of otto knows, I doubt you will hear someone play tiesto or "dont you worry child". The music might not be heavy like some techno guys like Richie, Beyer, or others are on the bill, but they still tend to get pretty creative and keep the atmosphere fun and energetic

What are you basing that on? Messages on this board? If so, I don't think this board is representative of the average clubber or party goer in the city. Lots of chin stroking going on in here.

The lineup is certainly disappointing..but meh its Sensation and I don't see myself getting over the Europe anytime soon :(

As much as I like him as a dj/producer, Sensation is much much more than just a dj lineup. That's why they made sure not to have a designated 'headliner' as a main act (although many might say that Prydz is). The show can't be compared to any other production this city has ever seen at that scale/level for any event let alone an EDM/House one, aside from a major rock concert, Cirque De Soleil, or Odysseo. To compare Rev to the show that will take place inside the Skydome is like comparing a drive down the street in a Hyundai Pony to a trip to outer space via space shuttle.
