I wonder what the hours will be like. Would be really lame if it's over at midnight or 1am. I can't see SkyDome staying open later but I can't see a Sensation party ending that early :conf:

I don't know if any of you have ever been to Sensation White in Amsterdam, but the level of production is second to none. |
It really is and we can only hope for a lineup half as good as Brooklyn's |

I have and I'm going to this one too. It's a fantastically produced event. The haters and pathetically predictable elitism on these boards nowadays is sad. |

The hours are 6PM to 2AM. I guess since Bud Light is a sponsor they want to stay within liquor license hours.
For the ones complaining about cost, may I remind you that Bal en Blanc costs $150 right now for a regular ticket and has 1/20th of the production value of Sensation.
As someone else has mentioned, not all Sensation events have commercial-only DJs |

Yeah. You're right. I'm a narcissist. I mean , anyone who quotes wikipedia is an infallible source of information and a leading authority on everything.
|
It's not infallible, but I just couldn't get the info from anywhere else. I was actually questioning what they meant by writing that, which is why I asked this board, which was a big mistake right there I suppose since every member on this board is required to have some superior level of intellect or risk snide and sarcastic remarks.

Dude, it's a ing white party. Show up in white. Simple. That's why I called you dim with reference to this. Seriously, would you really show up to a white party wearing any other colour? Kind defeats the purpose of the atmosphere no?
|
Again, I wasn't sure. Maybe they do give out white apparel for folks to wear. I have no idea. I also wonder how strict they are with it. Like where do they cross the line on how purely white it's supposed to be.
Anyway, this isn't a cheese event. I know you guys would like to think that it is, due to it's production design, but if you guys looked at the lineups from last year, it was actually good. Like I said, Seoul had Nic Fanciulli, Sebastien Leger, and Funkagenda and last time I checked, those guys were revered on this place. I wanted to go, but I was too busy during that time.
$125 is a lot but you're also paying for the venue and production design. If this lineup was at Guv, it would probably be half this amount. I'm just really happy Tdot is finally get some festivals and new events like this and I can't wait to experience them when I come back. |

I think 1/20th is a stretch and I don't know if we should expect the same level of production as other Sensations with it being the first here and the fact that it's a smaller city than some of the other hosts. |

Yeah. Because DEMF and all other festivals tell you their line ups right away and not in some weird Phase time system. |
