Its Madonna - Music (Pink Flood mix)
PvD also dropped an oldie but goodie Pvd vs. Tilt - Rendezvous towards the end.

Freeza, I agree it was a very random thing for us to meet at the signing but you were no where to found at Roxy!

Lastly, I was so amped to be there last night that I must have done 20 hot laps around the club. A flawless mix with an awesome but not legendary set by Paul Van Dyk was all I needed.

I don't care what anyone says. I thought PVD was great. He started hard and kept it hard for 4 solid hours. He then started playing the noise I don't like, and an hour later built it back up, but then brought it down and let the record play to the end. With 30 minutes left to go he started his Nu-Nrg encore but closed the encore with some slow piece of song WTF!! He never played Nu-Nrg - The Kiss (I was waiting for this the entire night) That encore song that nobody knew was (Basic Dawn) - Pure Thrust (Nu-Nrg Remix)

Some songs that wern't listed:

Basic Dawn - Pure Thrust (Nu-Nrg Remix)
Pulser - My Religion
Three Drives - Carrera 2 (Nu-Nrg Remix)
Terry Bones - Closed Minds
Oscar G & Ralph Falcon - Dark Beat (Southsides Remix)
Afterburn - Summer Sun
Prime Mover - The Weapon (Grinder Remix)
Paul van Dyk - For A Revolt
Ghostland feat. Sinead O'Connor - Guide Me God (PVD Remix)
Armin van Buuren - Yet Another Day
Oliver Lieb pres. Smoked - Metropolis (Eric Prydz Remix)
Bryan Zentz - D-Clash
Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Goldenscan Remix)
Aly & Fila - Eyes of Horus (Ronski Speed Mix)
Nu-Nrg - Dreamland
Beetseekers - Walk Of Notes (The Digital Blonde Remix)
Mr Sam vs Fred Baker pres As One - Forever Waiting (MIKE Remix)
E-Project - Ultra Dream Vibes
3 Fingers - Frozen February (Flake Remix)
Hemstock & Jennings - Rendezvous
Armin Van Buuren vs Ferry Corsten - From The Heart
Terminalhead - Mind Of Your Own (The Light Remix)
Bq Express - Feeling So Good (Original Mix)
Solid Globe - North Pole (Original Mix)
Neo & Farina - Mondial (Original Mix)
Darren Tate & Mike Koglin pres Cota - Waiting (Original Mix)
Syntax - Pray

I had a great time partying with everyone. The dinner was a flop because only 7 people showed up. And no, PVD did not play Punk. Time for bed :eyespop:

OMFG he played born slippy and closed minds?! ahhhhh

*listens to born slippy and closed minds* :toocool:

I am not really sure how i'd like this set. I guess i'd have had to be there and see how he mixed it. I do like harder stuff too though. So i dont think that transition some are complaining about would be a problem for me.

Oh well, next PvD I see is at GLOW in July =) Hope to see some of you there =P.

I am just off the phone with someone who attended and according to him the set was by all means comparable to his Miami set at Space. Having been to the latter one myself I can see that the fluffy trance lovers didn't like it. For my part, the Mimai set is in the top 3 of the 27 sets I have experienced live.

Andreas, I also LOVED the space set. it was off the hook. I don't feel that last night was anything like this. I have been pondering this today..and I think it's all due to lack of energy. I loved his tracklisting and there were so many tunes that just floored me. Hydra-Affinity is one of my favs...

Anyway, the CROWD was different. While everyone was nice and cool there wasn't the hardcore pvd energy I usually see. There wasn't the crazy PEE-VEE-DEE chanting and bugging out. Perhaps that is just what I missed and it's not a reflection on PvD obviously. Sometimes your own personal experiences can color a night and change your views completely...looking back I think that I would have enjoyed PvD's set much more in a different setting.

Regardless, I was thrilled to hear some new tracks and I liked the breaks.

(aside) why in hell did i think i heard Punk?!

yujie__
i hope he gets better when get date at GLOW. he should be refresh and renew with new tracks by then. did anyone DIED lastnite?

I think he finished it with Te Amo from the Zurdo soundtrack. I thought it was nice... a unique finish to a unique night...
