I just received a letter from the governor of my state. He seemed to be supportive of saving Padre National Seashore, so that's good news!

Welcome back to the banshee thread echoes!
Ive got to finish packin up here.. funny thing..i was cleaning out my fridge and freezer, throwing out thats gonna go bad when im gone for a month. and in the freezer in my icebox was my long lost bottle of SoCO 100 ! :D yay
ill be enjoying that as i pack |

don't you love it when that happens? good luck packing, i hate it so much. especially when you have to freaking pack EVERYTHING you own (aka, when i moved out).

i have to convince my brother to rearrange our spain trip a bit so we can spend a weekend in madrid, because it's supposed to be the best in europe. i'm going on this trip to party my ass off (maybe i shouldn't be going with my brother?) and see some cultural stuff if i don't think i'm going to die. i hear they like tall blondes there? |

It was a reference to Al Franken's character Stuart Smalley. Al's recent "liberal hate book" is actually quite hilarious as well, but I would put him in the same league with Limbaugh et al in terms of how much one should trust his information.
