dammit, i wanted to say goodbye! i hate it when mr s leaves.
i read the dig about this thread and figured i'd let it go. people are welcome to think this thread a waster of time, it'll keep them from posting nonsense and negativity. i'm so happy that this thread has never had a flame war (although it came close when good ol' party princess posted a few) and i like our little banshee community. :)
anyway, i named this thread because i somehow started using banshee i ways that didn't make sense and i don't know how. i'm always creating random things with language, if you ever talk to me you'll see. i keep it to a minimum when i meet new people though. the only way you usually hear banshee is when people say "wail like a banshee." somehow whenever i meant to convey extremity, i just added "like a banshee." i have to pee like a banshee (always popular when drunk), i slept like a banshee last night, and stuff like that. then it somehow started referring to me, although i'm not a whiner or a wailer.
so, one night i was at home, and bored, so naturally i was a bored little banshee. although at 5'8", i'm really not little either.
summary: banshee is used here only in my random, illogical sense. |

i do enjoy a hotdog...
i also enjoy a drink, even a few too many because i got absolutely wasted last night, drunker than i've been in years. my roommates tell me i was pretty amusing though, i remember a few parts here and there. i fell on my ass for no apparent reason when we left the bar and couldn't stop laughing long enough to get up. when we ordered pizza in the car, i was yelling from the back seat that half absolutely HAD to be mushrooms and i was not negotiating.
then i passed out on my friend's lap mumbling about fettucini pizza. when we got back home, i passed out on the couch in our living room fully dressed and with my knee-high boots on and could not be woken. at all.
hence, i'm in no mood to go out tonight. i was trying to nap all day but couldn't because my neighbors were blasting music and i wanted to kill them with a flamethrower. |
