It would be cool if you did everything on the list. You'd be so proud of yourself.
:D
Special request...lyrics. 'bout pain. heartbreak. That kind of thing. |
Oil change has been moved to tomorrow (if Midas is open on sunday)...the other things I am going to do as soon as I burn my 2 cd copies. Sigh I kinda wish I had the money to upgrade to a faster CD-R, but I will just wait till I buy a new computer this time next year. (I buy computers on a 4 year cycle).
Ok lyric request filled:
Oo it must be magic
How inside your eyes I see my destiny
Every time we kiss
I feel you breathe your love so deep inside of me
And if the moon and stars should fall
They'd be easy to replace
I would lift you up to heaven
And you would take their place
Then I saw red
When I opened up the door
I saw red
Heart just spilled on to the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
I saw yours
I saw red then I closed the door
I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore
Everyday I wake up
I thank God that you are
Still a part of me
Opened up the door to which
So many people never find the key
And if the sun
Should ever fail to send his light
We will burn a thousand candles
And make everything alright
Then I saw red
When I opened up the door
I saw red
Heart just spilled on to the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
I saw yours
I saw red then I closed the door
I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore

Thank you.
Oil change was #1 on the list. Burn 2 cd copies wasn't. Do the oil change now and the burn tonight! :p Or is it already too late there for the oil change?
I have a friend in Virginia (near Wash DC) who just had power restored a couple of hours ago.
I need a mop. Heart just spilled on to the floor. What a mess. |
Midas is first come first serve and they are usually pretty busy after about noon on saturdays. Worst case scenario is I get one on monday after work.
Burnin 2 cds was part of the go to record store thing. I bought Tiesto -Nyana and I like to burn a copy of any cd I want in the car (in case I damage it). I am going to do the last part of the list after this disc finishes, as well as go to Hooters for dinner. Need a chicken sammich and it is the 20th which is the day of the month they have discounts cause of their anniversary or something.
My sister who lives in Northern VA was without power until at least this morning according to my mom. I assume my step-brother is without power in Richmond cause he has not been online since early the night the storm hit. (he just got a cable modem and is on like 24/7 hehe)
Ok cd done...time to spend more money I don't have.

List finished minus (oil change).
Spent 50 bucks on 4 'biners (2 locking and 2 regular) and 40ft. of shock cord at REI so I decided I could not spend any more money today on tools at Sears (would have pushed me back another 65 bucks minimum). Sigh.
On an side note I want to wax philosophical on for a moment:
The "HOOTERS" uniform
I went to have a chicken sammich (cause they have a damn good chicken sammich) and a beer at Hooters this evening and noticed something tonight that I had not conciously allowed myself to notice before.
The uniforms they wear are very unflattering to many of the young ladies that work there. Sure, there are some who wear that outfit and it fits their body type perfectly and all, but many of them it just doesn't look right. Take my server for example. I would call her "very attractive" on my grading scale but every time she walked by I was thinking "she would look a lot better in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt than in that". (Of course there was also the "look better naked" thoughts, I do have a pulse after all :p) I then notiiced that there were several other servers who would fit the same sort of comment. And it saddened me. I don't know why, I guess I am getting sentimentally loopy on the last official weekend of summer but it made me feel bad. I felt bad because I was thinking to myself those werd thoughts. So I ended up tipping even more than I usually do (25% in this case) and went on my not-so merry way.
There is no real point to this other than I wanted to tell someone what I was thinking.
Don't mind me.
I am truly insane. :eyespop:

Well I just got to the point where they were discussing music to pu in place of the Jeopardy theme so I think I have many pages to go before the herms come out of the closet. :eyes:
