one more thing...its hard to tell from the pics, but is one of your arms maybe slightly a little bigger then the other? if so just cut back a little on the one arm and do some extra for a little while with the other...stuff like that you gotta use dumb bells...

well...i've done both...here is the problems with both...

if you run a lot you aren't really gonna see any size gain

if you run a little bit you aren't gonna see as much size gain

if you don't run at all you will see size gain but a lot of that will be fat depending on your diet.

i would say maybe just set on day a week aside for running if you want. you should still gain weight as long as your eating right and then you won't be depressed or get too fat...

if you are referencing the back shot its cuz one arm was like | and the other / made the shoulder go flat on left arm

meh, hard to say. Last year I was a little bigger, and I worked out pretty much every day for 6 months. then I went travelling and came back a bitch. Ive been working out for maybe 4 months again now. It slowed down a bit with work though :\

Whiskers - 4 months of work, get your ass to a gym. I was 6 foot 1 hitting around 140 lbs. I still have a 28 inch waist but weigh 170. I was always the kind of person who eats a bag of cookies and loses 5 lbs I thought it was hopeless. I have years ahead of me still, with an eventual goal of 185 lbs. *sigh* but its fun gettin there. Im at a good starting point, i have basically just laid down some groundwork for actually trying to do something.

Every single person can do well, and the people who are too skinny or too fat usually end up looking the best cuz they have the most motivation.

Im gonna have to find a gym partner now hehe. I tried doin barbell by myself once and got trapped and couldnt breathe. It was pretty gay.

if you doin bench, you can jump it down to you stomach then sit up and put it on the ground, dont do it with much more than 225 though, it starts to hurt around there :)

You got trapped? Good God. That had to suck. Good luck getting a gym partner, Orbax. Finding someone who will go everytime with you in a very difficult task. I got sick and tired of asking my friends to go so I decided to go at it alone, and I continue to do so. Now I'm so used to going alone that I find it aggravating when someone wants to go with me. "Are you almost done?" "How much time do you have left?" UGH! In any case, Orbax, you're right about the motivation part. Too right.

lol, thats about what I was doin. see the problem was that I thought by resting it on my chest for a couple moments id be able to get it off again. I was SO CLOSE to having gotten it up the last time. But then I was like HNNNGGGH and it didnt even move. I dont use clips and I was about to dump the plates, but I spotted someone close and croaked out HELPPPP MEEEEE.

For anyone worried about being embarassed at the gym, dont worry, everyones done stupid .
