Tiesto Over Oaky anyday......i seen tiesto twice and oaky twice...Tiesto is very into the music and i like his djing skills...... Oaky had its moments back in 98 -99 but this year all his sounds are almost the same....ok seeing the Ultra video i was like cool set.then i see him live same almost identical set 3 months later..hmmmm and i been told all his sets are almost identical..... starts out with Lost com - animal and freet - trisco which is one of my favorite songs..but still hes predictable in mixing this year....anyway Tiesto beats him for now...... Tiesto is just the Signature TRANCE Good guy..... or Hero......
but sad to say Oaky and Tiesto are just Grasshoppers to the all might PVD!!!!.... There are Heros ,there are masters,there are Magicians ,there are geniuses in the world of trance...but there is only one god thats PVD!!!!!!PAUL VAN DYK!!!!!!.... The Man that is the Hero ,Magicican, the Geniues and the All star master ...behind the tables all at one.... if god was a real life person it would be Paul van dyk...his power is amazing..hes magical his ablility to almost read the crowd and play the right songs.... thats song one that no one can match....he is a LEGEND in this scene!!His songs and his Sets are the words to my bible.... If trance had its currency ..PVD face would be on every bill...... PVD is TRANCE TRANCE is PVD!!!! for what Paul van dyk did for me on the dance floor...and i have seen almost all big djs..and no one has come close... and its hard for me to think of anyone who could Match his level let alone beat him!!!...so
but yeah by the way TIESTO over OAKIE anyday lol!!! |

| Oakie has mixed some good, tunes, but Tiesto is consistently better, and TranceGeek, if you don't know why PVD is soo rated, down load a couple of his live sets and see for yourself PVD ROX!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

i haven't been bothered to read the other peoples opinions but the old Oakenfold (98/99) vs New Tiesto, OAKENFOLD WINS!!... man he was so tight in his day.. and tiesto these days is soo boring!.. ive listened to Magik 7 six times! (i can count!) and im bored of it!
but recently Oakenfold's branching out, which in my opinion is fair enough considering he's been in the scene for *that* long!
oh yea, Tiesto's far from trancegod :p Armin van Buuren beats him by a mile, at least AvB and Ferry Corsten have variety in their sets!

armin and ferry (and tiesto albeit) are the princes

Lol...what kind of a retarded question is this....if you have seen Pvd live ,then you obviously wouldnt have asked this question....Tiesto doesnt come anywhere close to him.
I have to agree with Fatboy..Marco V is incredible....so is Armin Van Buuren.....
I dont like Tiesto's stuff in general...I really wonder whether all the hype behind Magik 6 was justified...it was a decent mix.
Though my favourite Dj is Ferry Corsten..He just continues to make the most pulsating mixes |

First of all it was recorded live....You could feel the enrgy from the crowd.....That was amazing....And the tracklisting...AMAZING!
Loved the tracks.....all so uplifting.....And you could hear the crowd just screaming at the sweet middle part of moogwai......this complication totally captured me..... |
