i don't understand chad kilger... he's not a PP or PK specialist, he's not a goon, he's not a goal scorer or a playmaker, not a defensive forward, what's he good for??? |

i don't think so... i think francis fits well into the scheme of things... the leafs are all about diggin in corners and taking abuse in front of the net. francis will be an awesome playmaker for guys like nolan and tucker. |

I dont think you can really compare what the Leafs are doing to what the Rangers have been doing the past 2 years. Toronto's payroll is no where close to NY, and the contracts that TO has signed closing in on the trade deadline have been for the remainder of this season. Leetch may not be around next year, and who knows about Francis. All i know, is that with these two acquisitions they add playoff experience and leadership - something that NY is sorely lacking. |

I know payrolls don't compare, but adding so many new players in such a short time is playing with fire IMO. Chemistry between players takes time...
