meh the Canucks got pasted today as well. The Flames lost their streak yesterday...
everyone's in a bit of a cooldown period.
Let's hope the Oil continue with their good win by beating the Flames next. Not cuz I hate the Flames (I'm a Canucks fan first but a Canadian fan second) but because teams like Cal and Van can afford a couple of losses, unlike the Oil. |

| senators are unbeaten in 5 (tied pittsburg but outshot them 44 - 11 Caron? was unbelievable), 16 wins 10 losses, and still nobody ever mentions them. i guess it will take a cup before they get an ounce of respect |

no
it's just that after last year, there were high expectations for the Sens, and they were flopping around for the first bit. They're just starting to get their legs now. |

I actually like the Senators, though not many people outside of Ottawa do. If Montreal can't win it, I'd like to see either Ottawa or Vancouver do so. My Canadan team ranking is Montreal, Ottawa, Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto.:D |

They get lots of respect from hockey experts, they're known as a 'perfect' team. Problem is that they've shown they don't have the winning instinct to get a cup. They need to learn some lessons from NJ... Id still like to see them win the cup though... |

Actually NJ is not really a team to emulate
boring style of hockey draws crowds. I've heard some really bad stories from people who've been to NJ playoff games. |

anyway lets put our differences aside here for a second and give a cheer for the boys in finland. 8-0 now second period too bad the tournament is set up the way it is. tough to see a team that worked as hard as ukrain get routed like they have. |

a lot of people outside toronto hates the leafs too
there's 2 types of hockey fans ones that loves the leafs, and ones that hates them with a passion

i hope we can bring home the gold this year
i don't know how the americans can stand up to the pressure of being the favourites
we'll probably meet russia again
