no leafs would be ahead. the first tie breaker is number of wins. second i think is season series and third (really not sure on this one) is goals for. toronto has more wins.
btw... bertuzzi suspended for the year. sad really the whole situation. im sure the effect of any punishment the league would give is nothing compared to the guilt he is feeling. not that i am in anyway condoning what he did.. but maybe if the league did a better job of disciplining the players, people like todd bertuzzi wouldnt feel they have to take matters in their own hands. Moore hit naslund and gave him a concussion on a dirty hit. Hes not innocent either yet here bertuzzi is comming off as the villain. Anyway sad sad sad... |

hmmm discojoe, i think ur fav team should be ahead, since they have less games played, and also more goals scored and against and i think that`s what matter first before the head to head games.
well they should`ve make an example of Moore, not to make such hits, i mean he isn`t the only one, Domi and Niedermeyer, few years back, Roenick too this year, no penalty even for high-stick to the face from the Sabers player and we can go on and on....will see if anyone will learn from it.... |

| i'd take bondra/de vries over leetch/francis anyday, the other too are a bit younger also... better pick ups by otawwa. the only edge we have vs. them is in net, and veteran leadership... |

we only have the edge if our geriatric goaltender can keep his back in check.... as for ottawa, when lalime is in high gear, he is one of the best goaltenders out there... |

okay u can take bondra and de vires over Leetch and Francis, and ur back to square one, no power play man, hmmm, lack of defenceman that can create chances, don`t tell me that de vries is better then Leetch cause he is not, lack of creatin plays and playin as a good power play man on the point. about Peter, well different, story, u need ppl to win u face-offs and Bondra ain`t that good at it, 16.7 % compare to over 50 for Ron, so yeah u go there with ur players, u have enought wingers but no enough centers.....
lalime is good but this year i don`t think he showed his potentials, theodore from quebuec is better, lately that team is on fire, 3 - 2 overtime loss tonite against to panthers.
today games was like any other games against weak teams, it sucked tho have to say Giron made some amazing saves, come on Leafs we need wins :D |
