or score a goal for that matter :D

130+ mins of shutout hockey for Eddie.

But I must say, Leafs defense has gotta tighen up and help him out. Senators are able to move too freely around the net. You can tell the leafs are trying to stay out of the sin bin.

i gotta admit...the leafs didnt play as well as ottawa did

but sundins goal was awesome

haha, they try and boo sundin like they do alfredson in the ACC, but there are soo many leafs fans that they just shut the sens fans up

that's nice...they should probably learn to put the rubber in the net...

Just cause they outplayed them doesn't mean they'll win.

Toronto took advantage of Ottawa's sloppy playin', BOTH Toronto (I know I don't have to mention which team scored) goals were from effective checking and determination by Toronto.

And don't blame it on 'luck' cause this is the SECOND shutout now...:tongue2 :toocool:

leafs played like again tonight...eddie cant win every game for them..either they pick up their game and win a game themselves or they can kiss their lead goodbye

like a said, I think the Leafs defense has softened up after all those penalties in game one. They need to start hitting hard again to keep Ottawa away from the net, because I agree, Eddie can't keep stopping them like he has. And I credit a lot of that to luck. Being in the right place when the puck comes, and the fact that the Sens can't hit an open net.

It wasnt luck..I think they played a very disciplined hockey tonight.Good defence..they jumped on every rebound that Eddie gave up.And they cant be physical every game, leafs are a pretty old team. They have to think about next series too.A win is a win .

It was disciplined, just overall not that great, even Matt's goal was sweet to get there, but in the end Lalime should have stopped that lame shot! The other one, he had no chance! Shots 37-17, doesn't sound all that disciplined to me!

I agree! I want Leafs to win in this series, but if they are gonna play like that in the future, then there is nothing for them to do in play offs, let the team that actually plays hockey to advance (i.e. Ottawa). 37 ing shots against 17. WTF? Where is offense? Where is deffense?
LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!

mogliny is totally out of the picture too..because hes on the tiest line...put him with antripov and neiwuendyk and lets see some real hockey....i mean cmon hes on a line with ron francis..and i forget who else at this second...but anyways ron francis is too slow to keep up with mogilny...and yes i agree we cant come out hard hitting every game since we have a stanley cup team this year and we want to make it there but that doesnt mean u cant throw a few big hits every once in a while or follow through with your checks...they got outplayed last ngith and embarassed..thnk god for eddie...but it wont take that long for ottawa to figure out eddie if they keep leaving it up to him..next game they got to come out hard or they can go home
