Hello All!:D
How many romantics do we have here on TA?
I was thinking about my last relationship and I'm like " there wasn't a drop of romance in it". So sad, I know... . Anywayz what was the last romantic thing you did for your g/f or b/f? Does romance go hand in hand with sex?Is it a drag for guys to be romantic? Because it's really hard to find romantic guys nowdays and it seems to be so very painful for them to be romantic, like a torture or something... Is there any truth to that guys? Do you ppl think one could have a long term relationship with no romance involved? Is romance an important part of a relationship?Do you ppl think love has a lot to do with romance? Could you have one without the other?Anywayz post your thoughts and experiences... keep the sex talk to the minemum though...PLS:D . |

i am such a sucker for romance. my boyfriend and i do very romantic things for each other all the time.
one time i wanted him to come to an armin show back in november but he said he couldn't (we are long distance). i was all upset because i really wanted him to come, but he schemed with my parents and ended up on my front porch with roses, surprising me for the weekend! i had no idea he was gonna come. :)
then i was uber sneaky and surprised HIM by flying out to kentucky (where his army post was) the very next weekend...he was shocked cuz he didnt think i was gonna do it so soon!
and romance is DEFINITELY not about gifts. sometimes we would cook for each other, or cook together, and just relax with a romantic meal and a bottle of wine. and he knows i am addicted to massages, so he will just give me one without me begging for it. just little things like that are what makes our relationship so beautiful. :D
sorry i know i am being corny, but i am 100% convinced he is truly my soulmate! |

Im a romantic...but on a level. Im not cheesy, and all about the mushy mushy crap. I just like to show the girl im with how much shes appreciated and that entails being romantic in my eyes...not necessarily flowers (even though i like flowers), or a pic-nic or whatever....im just talking about common everyday appreciation and expressions of love.
meh, hard to explain.
anyhow, i had a gf once and it lasted for 4yrs so i think a lot of romantics are in relationships...not only because i was in one for so long but mainly due to the fact that if you're a romantic, you definitely look for something long lasting. Once you've found it, it stays for a long ass time.
All those diehard romantics are either taken or hiding in zee bushes.
im in the bushes right now....
i mean no one would think im a romantic, but thats only because i have no one to show. :( awwwwwwww poor me. lol anyway yeah
