well, since i was born in Germany and I am Deutsch, it starts there. Also, I do not think the language is ugly. I suppose it depends on the dialect. I am not sure what it is called but "high deutsch", so to speak, sounds nice. but it isn't just the language. it's the people. German boys are very well-mannered and polite. I don't find that here. I like that they are neat and clean and orderly. (no nazi jokes please).
btw, i think Dutch sounds MUCH harsher. |

well im not a total prick...i know where to draw the line and the nazi jokes is drawing the line...so no nazi jokes from me...however, saying that you dont find well mannered and polite men here is a bit of a sweeping statement, dont you think?? youre calling me and my family a bunch of a cannibals that eat with our hands and fling our drinks at eachother??

i don't think you are a prick... but a lot of people make nazi comments when i say how i like "orderly" germans.
i am not making a sweeping generalization about american men. i am saying that I have a hard time finding those men here. They are here, but they don't come near me. :(
