hah vlad... umm i used to do the running across the nets when i was younger... u don't have to be SUPER fast, but just gotta get the ball off the court quickly without fumbling it, dropping it, or falling on your ass doing so... i prefer standing in the corners to working at the net, that way i can show off my rocket of an arm :gsmile: |

i've been working at the us open doing that since 1998, so i was still 16 then. there's a tryout every year in july, but veterans get invited back no questions asked :) quite fun, long hours, get a nice tan (tho it's often accentuated by sock tan and a nice big V on your neck), free gear, etc etc.
