I couldn't imagine subscribing to a magazine that was just about guns from front to back. How southern

You make it sound like they don't sell that magazine at newstands here. It's got a fairly large circulation (not just in the south) and it used to be fairly well written (not sure about now, haven't read it or anything similar in years). If you're a shooter, it has a lot of information on getting the best products, so I really don't understand the surprise.

In all my years as a NYC resident I've never seen a 'Guns & Ammo' magazine. I didn't really have to look hard to find it at Atlanta's airport. I'm sure it's sold everywhere but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most NYCers don't have a special interest in guns and shooting, particularly since we're not allowed to carry them, or have other things to concern our time with like running the rat race LOL. I guess I just haven't been looking hard enough on the news stands, not that I was looking hard at Atlantas airport either but behold, there it was.

Should I assume that you shoot?

I personally shoot, but only when I visit the south. Even though I was taught proper stance, hand positioning and such I find it to be more stressful a task than not. It's hard for me to relax with the flames bursting out of the gun and whatnot. Only thing I really get out of it is marksmanship. I'd never want to have to test it out on anything living though. That's Chaney's department.

At most newstands I've seen, there's a whole section on hunting and shooting, just like there's a section with music magazines, cosmo/maxim type mags, new mags, etc. I'll check next time i'm in one to see if NYC differs from everywhere else, thoguh. I'm usually not in grand central or the port authority (or other places with large newstands).

Oh, and yeah, I shoot whenever I'm at home. I used to shoot competitively in high school, but that kind of ended in college and after i moved here. I did take riflery as a phy ed class during freshman year, though.

Wow. I didn't know they offered classes like that at any school.

I've always wondered with regards to your pics whether or not you are putting any kind of special effort into them.

I don't mean that in a bad way. Let me clarify. All of your pics are at such high quality pixelation that they all look spectacular, or at least for the most part they do. At the same time, it looks like you're taking pics of pretty normal stuff. Being that your pics all look so crisp and breathtaking, how does one know whether you're randomly taking pics or if you go around actually looking for specific shots (like the one with the face in the rear view mirror for example).

I don't really know anything about you so I'm asking out of curiosity. Do we all gasp at your pics because you purposely make them artful and we all pick up on it on some level, or are we all gasping at the high pixelation?

Take the photo with the old women on a bench for example. It evokes a certain feeling IMO. Did you mean for it to or were you just taking a random high quality pic of some old women you knew? I guess what I'm asking is: Is there intent behind most of your photos?

Hope that's not too absurd a question to ask.

Why, most schools offer ROTC programs (not that this was one)? We also had archery, trap and skeet (clay pigeon shooting), and handgun from the shooting sports classes - http://www.cuinfo.cornell.edu/Acade...ooting+Courses.

Do a quick Google search and you'll see that Cornell isn't the only college offering, either. On page 1, I saw Iowa St., Michigan, Claremont McKenna.

They are olympic sports, you know.

But really.

I remember seeing you wearing them in one pic of yourself, some time ago. I love my Pumas, too.

So yeah. I'm looking forward to reading your reply to Blake. T'was a good question, indeed.
