Whoa... I totally missed all that stuff about my sig. HA!
Okay... Manny's in my sig because he's my favorite player. His skills are unmatched and his personality is great. Such a funny guy. How many other baseball players can this be written about:
"Sometimes Manny gets lost going from first to third and Francona has to place a trail of peanutts to help him."
or (in reference to the Sheffield to Mets rumors)
"Where Sheffield will loaf in the OF because he doesn't want to play here, Manny would loaf in the OF because he thinks the clouds look like swans or something."
Gotta love it.
And Vlad... not even close, buddy. I've dug Manny since the minor leagues. Way before he joined the Red Sox. The Indians once tested Manny for ADD because he could never focus. Ahhhhh!!!! |

Yup... didn't he bat over .900 his senior year or something absurd like that? Manny the Supreme.
Angel Salome, who was drafted by the Brewers, went to George Washington too. He batted .800+ and EVERY out he made was a fly out on the warning track. He's a catcher... |

And Manny has a bad temper!? Eeeeek! I think he's one of the most laid back people on Earth, let alone playing professional baseball.
I'm still dreaming of the day Manny is traded to the Mets... I will buy two sets of tickets that day. One set right by the on-deck circle and the other set in the front row in LF. And, with Manny's personality, he'll probably think I'm two different people. |
