LOL! I masturbate at least once every day, whether I am having regular sex or not. It has become a part of my daily routine.
I was in a three year relationship, so this is probably the biggest factor that influences my feelings about one night stands. Perhaps I just need to give it a try, and I wont mind, but I can't really see myself feeling good afterwards if it meant nothing at all.
I am not saying that the person and I have to be in love, I am just saying there has to be some level of emotional understanding, and it would have to be someone I know. Not someone I JUST met.

i've had one, but it wasn't with a person i just met. it was my friend that i had known for about a year and 1/2...and it was on valentines day this year. haha. i wouldn't say i feel awesome about it because i mean...it was kinda cheap, and i ended up taking his virginity, which i didn't know about until later. i don't necessarily regret it because...i knew what it was going to be going into it and we were safe and had fun...it's not something i'd enjoy doing again but for that one night it was an interesting experience. one night stands aren't for me, i learned. i agree with you, that sex is to be shared w/ someone that you have an emotional attachment to, not necessarily love, but you need to care about eachother.
by the way, i'm in california on vacation until this next wednesday, so if my posts are scarce, it's because i'm not staying with people who have great internet access hah. i know you miss me ;) |

well...i guess i need to get in on this talk because i'm not a slut hehe.
i've never had a one night stand and don't really want to. i definitely agree on the need for an emotional connection with a person. i'd be way too worried about making a huge mistake to enjoy myself. i don't want to do anything to jeopardize any kind of future relationships i might have because of a drunken hook up...
