Yeah, then I'd have to agree that 'Fling' is a better defintion. To me, a one night stand constitutes getting drunk (or maybe not) and meeting somebody you'd never met before and just deciding it's a good idea to go home and and that's that. You actually had communicated with this guy, apparently for a while, and spent the whole day with him doing sober stuff like drinking tea and playing Life!? |

From the ever wise urban dictionary:
1. fling
deliberately short-term sexual relationship between two people. Longer than a one-night stand, not as serious-sounding as "affair", more frankly physical than the discreet or twee "dalliance", the word has the associations of a much-needed sexual relief from stress, worry or hangups. No deep personal involvement required, just the sex and a bit of attention.
That's it.
So I would like to formally take back the statement that I had a "one-night stand", because I indeed had a fling.
It sounds better anyway :) |

EDIT: That really bothers me. I honestly don't have the intentions to give guys the wrong impression. Writing him an e-mail was to be nice, to kind of take the guilt off my back. (Because to be quite honest, the whole thing makes me feel guilty, like I am a bad person.)
Asking my ex that was asking him in a skewed way if he still really cared about me. I needed to be reassured because once we broke up, I really began to question if he had truly loved me. And that hurts.
Guys just take it the wrong way. :confused: |

you asked your ex that hoping to get "i still care about you" and what really happened? he says yeah we could ...i don't wanna start things up again, but i'll you.
and whether you like it or not...i can bet you'll get an email back from that guy you just sent an email to inviting you to come hang out with him again because he's hoping for some more ass...
it sucks...but that's reality. i know you don't mean any harm by it...i'm just saying that is what you can expect unfortunately...

Unfortunately, this is how alot of guys think. Its really sad, but its true. Sorry to hear that people are trying to take advantage of you. :( |
