I knew ambrosia was the food of the gods in ancient Greece from general knowledge. For a long time I had some interest in Eastern beliefs and mythology, hence had heard of amrita and dutsi before.
The Japanese one I had to Google - although I did study Japanese in high school.
But seriously, I don't even know where half my general knowledge comes from. I'm just good at knowing trivial facts about a whole bunch of stuff, without knowing anything in any real depth :( |
