Let's talk about the 1st story. I'm proud of you for doing the right thing, but my dick keeps telling me you could have f*ucker her then the next morning left the toilet seat up and wrote her a note detailing her shortcomings. :disbelief
Now for the 2nd story. I'm not going to sugar coat this, so don't take it personal and hate me. You say you're smart but when it comes to human relationships you're no genius.
Most anyone who knew the situation (she has a bf who not located near her) would know what sort of conflict you're putting her through. True she could have communicated her intentions better, but obviously she's all mixed up inside.
So let me explain what happened in terms you might understand. She's lonley, she meets a fun guy they hit it off, one thing leads to another, she sleeps with you, now she feels guilty as hell about betraying her bf, so she gets on the phone with her bf and starts to realize she's done an awful thing and still has feelings for him. So she makes up her mind not to cheat on her bf again. The best way to avoid this temptation is to distance herself from you (aka not return your calls). Eventually you'll lose interest in her and get the message she wants to end this affair.
Meanwhile over week goes by and Mr. blockhead doesn't get it and keeps calling her. Does she hate you? No, she likes you but, doesn't have the courage to tell you to f*ckoff. She's trying to let you down easy, but Mr. blockhead is madly in love and can't take a hint.
I told you it would be brutal, need a hanky? :confused: |

Hehe... not offended at all. I'm no genius, never proclaimed to be so. Common sense, experience and intellect all go down the drain when it comes to relationships.
However, if you reread the second story (I know its long) - I confronted her about this, and we slept together multiple times afterward.
It's not that I didn't get the hint - I did (even though I kinda played dumb in our emails) - I knew she was trying to ignore me cause she felt bad. However, the overall point to it (I think) was that open communication would have made it a whole lot easier.
I agree with your analysis on most of it though. My weak spot is women and I'll be the first to admit it! |

That was my crack pot analysis from skimming your story. I missed the part about sleeping again with her. The second story goes to show what happens when you ignore your mind and listen to your dick. Short term fun = long term headache, just be glad you didn't have kids with her then it would have turned into a full blown nightmare. Thx for sharing was entertaining regardless. Reading about someone else's relationship we tend to have 20/20, obviously its a little different when your in the mix. |

Not telling someone whats going on is the chicken way, unless you both totally know why. If someone keeps on calling thats usually a pretty good sign that youve done something ambiguously ty.
Also, if youre ing someone, you should also have the responsibility to talk to them. |
