If the very thought of a person makes you happy,
if the way they think and the things they say can make you laugh, cry, or have a really deep and intellectual conversation,
if holding them in your arms can make the rest of reality melt away,
and them just looking into your eyes sends shivers throughout your entire body,
if you are able to be in eachothers company and not actually need to say anything for lengths of time,
if most of the time, you know exactly what eachother is thinking, responding to situations in the same way without even saying anything
if the thought of losing that someone leaves you cold and empty,
if you are amazed at the sheer amount of things you have in common,
if their smile can make everything ok.
Those are some of things I think love is. |

I know that love in some respect is chemical, but I certainly do not believe it is all chemical.
I have been in love, I know this for a fact, how do I know? I cannot explain it.
All I know, is that for the rest of my existence, there will be a spot inside of me that is reserved for that person. It doesn't mean I cannot love again, which I am certain I will one day. It just means that the person I loved will always be with me.
I try not to over-complicate things. So I just accept it for what it is.
I think love is a wonderful thing to experience, and everyone should be lucky enough to have that chance. |

How do....you know it is love? How do you know you weren't fooled?
What if you thought love was a person showing you affection when you yourself wanted to be loved?
What if you think you have met the perfect person in your life, then a month later you meet someone who understands and appreciates you 1000x better than the first person?
What if you make yourself beleive you are in love, just for the simple fact that it is such a beautiful feeling...and you just want it to never end, to stretch the illusion of total in-loveness because it feels so amazing...
Just thinking about it makes me feel like I'm staring at a mirror with no reflection in it... |
