Not necessarily.

Well it depends. Is that the love between a man
and a woman or the love of a man for a fine Cuban cigar?

Love your work, mate.

Suffering leads to anger, anger leads to hate....and then can you embrace the dark side.

Assuming that love is indeed an illusion, like ShadowWolf claimed, then the whole concept of a family and the process of getting there is based on living in ignorance for a large period of time. If ignorance leads to suffering, how come there are lots of happy couples/families around?

If you don't know, you can't understand.
If you don't understand, you can't see (in the metaphorycal way).
If you don't see, you can't fix.
If you don't fix, you can't change.

If you're experiencing an illusion, and you can't change the situation, you'll keep living the illusion, being apart from reality.

That still doesn't mean that you're doomed to suffering. Sometimes, an illusion is preferred over reality.

True - but only if you believe that love is an illusion. It could be argued that love is an observable effect, but I cannot consciously say that I believe that.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any families that are truly, absolutely, happy being completely ignorant to the 'illusion of love'. That's why it's called tough love - without it, you get incest. :wtf:

We have to be ignorant to some things in this multiverse, but feeling is something subjective to the individual. Consensus happines is a seperate consideration, as love is observed but not demonstrated - if that makes any sense. Subjection can lead to love, and in its purest form, is, by definition, devoid of ignorance - that would defeat the purpose of an opinion. This is the power of an opinion - though it may not be considerate of society or agreed upon by anyone, it is true to the person if that person truly believes what they are saying - if it is an honest extension of essence. Thus, opinions are always true...if they are true to the person expressing them.

Ignorance isn't bliss... but bliss can be attained in spite of ignorance. ;)
