Clubs need more girls with dancing skillz, there's just few girls that i really admire when it comes to dancing..
Boyz its whole different story, lots of them can bust a move :)

Boys win with this one :(

whats considered dancing tho?

i've not seen a distinct way of dancin in a club...other then the favorite bump n grind to reggae beats...and the laughable Tiesto ma-ka-ren-a where u jus jump in da air and point in a NYC rap style motion with ur hands

Im seriously considering takin some latin dance lessions...cuz that is hot...

but what is the form of dance that i should perform?...i've stuck to the head boppin swayin shoulders type of dance if u call it that...

any tips?

yea....big shoes....

actually it was just so you couldn't possibily miss a step...

I think I like the dance dance revolution thing....Hmmmmmm....

We could put you in middle of the dance floor, do the circle thing around you and if you screw up, the music in the club stops until you get it right! :toothless

No pressure!

I have to agree with everyone. Seeing a gorgeous girl dancing to the beautiful sounds of either House or Trance muzik is amazing and I know myself I can never stand around while being at a party. For me the muzik just ends up taking me away for the entire time.

Having said that, you're incorrect about trance, house, and tribal music all using the same drum patterns. The kick on beat 4 during the first bar is VERY distinctive and prevalent in tribal tracks, and most tribal tracks also have the kick between beats 2 and 3. Tribal house may use congos and toms and other more acoustic drums, but if you took that all out and JUST played the kick pattern, almost everyone who listens to EDM would think "tribal" and not "house".

just listening to a chab tribal mix now.. and i see what you you mean.. you have the extra beat in to give that chugging feel

its also prevelant in some of preach's tracks as well.. it definatley gives a tribal track more of a tribal feel

but there are soo many tribal type tracks

cave - street carnival
max walder - samba del costa

etc

take Francois Chabloz aka chab, who produces tribal tracks
under that alias. You'll see that pattern your talking about appear in some of his tracks but not all.

The term tribal is meant as a descrption of the feel of the music.. not the specifics and patterns of the drum layouts.

take for example:

Perpetuous Dreamer - The Sound Of Goodbye (Armin Van Buuren's Tribal Feel Dub Mix)

he creates that same chugging effect by using the bassline instead of the percussion.

Shannon vs. D. Ramirez - Let The Music Play (superchumbo Tribal Mix)

This song has no chugging effect even.. but it has a tribal feel to it with the use of very dark beats and very little synths.

its like saying all trance tracks have huge drum rolls like darude sandstorm.. when in most cases trance tracks these days dont even have drum rolls lol

its a nice theory.. it gives a good chugging feel to tracks.. but in no way is it a defining aspect of a genre or a term used to describe the music.

If they mind their own business while dancing, I don't mind. But if they try and dance with me when I don't want to be touched, then it's a problem.

Youre obviously a straight woman...lol BUt i get what youre saying...unwanted creeps leaking all over is not fun.
